Anything by Terry Pratchett, and the Fionavar Tapestry series by Guy Gavriel Kay.I do also like anything by Brian Masters.I'll read anything.

Interesting, it's nice to find someone who's read the series. It's one of my favorite books as well in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre. The Dragonlance and Star Wars series also produced some great books too.Of course, most of us know about the Harry Potter books and Lord of the Rings trilogy, but have any of the younger readers read the Dune saga?Too bad, some don't like to read that much, but there are a whole lot more great books out there; just waiting to be read and ENJOYED.Bottom line, what is my favorite book? There is no one single book and those mentined above are just for that genre.the death gate cycle are my favorte books

Terry Goodkind. I'm currently rereading the series a 2nd time through. other than that Stephen King's Hearts in Atlantis is another personal fave.

Oh my, where to start?Okay, here goes:The Vlad Taltos series (by Steven Brust) is a great humor/fantasy series.The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit (Tolkein)Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling)The Earthsea Trilogy (Ursula K. Le Guin)Most of the short stories by H.P. Lovecraft, and The Darkness That Comes Before was pretty good too.But my absolute favorite book in all of existence is Mythago Wood (Robert Holdstock). I found the sequel, Lavondyss, to be rather dull.These are my favorites in terms of fiction, I have a few nonfiction books that I enjoy as well.

I'd have to say that I like any classic book especially those written by Charles Dickens.I LOVE Harry Potter and Star Wars books.
