I like understanding what is happening in games and so I almost never play a game in a language I can't understand.

I played one of the Fire Emblem games in Japanese; with a translation of most of the dialogue sitting next to me. Still enjoyed it.

Well, ofc I play. It's the only way to play gr8 games, well english isn't my main language.Anyway I play SRW (not only at gba) in JAP.

I got a minor in german in college, so sometime I will download european versions of the game and play them in that language if I can to keep my german skills fresh.

i play in english and in mandarin lol . i wanted to play the japanese one cause most of the games looks so cool and some of them doesn't have it in english but i just don't get if it's in japanese and i won't want to play a game if i doesn't know what it is talking about .

Yes, besides english I also play Japanese games because there are some awesome games from there that are not released anywhere else.I can read Japanese so its not that much of a problem, however I always prefer english.

I dont like to play with other languages. For me if i cant understand it i don't get the full experience of the game. Yet i have played a pokemon game in another language.

A couple of games, yes. I play ones in Japanese because they weren't released in English. Other languages (usually European) I'll play in if I know the entire game off by heart already.

Just for fun once I asked my french teacher if I could play a game in french for an assignment. In the end, somehow I actually got full credit for the assignment for playing Bahamut Lagoon in French. I hadn't played it in english before, so it was a little difficult. I'd play in Japanese if I knew how to read/write/speak japanese, but I don't yet.

I sometimes play games in Japanese but mostly English. Since I never went to a place to learn Japanese, I don't really understand, but playing the games in Japanese, is kind of making me leran Japanese.
