Eventhought i primarliy speak spanish, i play all my games in english. This may be a little odd, but its becouse in spanish translations there are alot of slangs, and the original essense of the game usually disappears..

I only play roms in english. My native language is swedish and not many roms are released in that language :gs: If I knew Japanense, more then a few words, I would play those roms to not be able to lose anything in translation.

I mainly play games in English since it is the only language I can read. Occasionally, I will play a game in Japanese since it was never released in the U.S./Europe like Rockman EXE 4.5 Real Operation.

Nah, I only play games in English. I can't understand the other languages and I won't enjoy the game much if I don't know what they are talking about.

I've played before in Japanese, Chinese, and German. Japanese- because I was too excited to wait for the English version.Chinese- to test how many words I could recognizeAnd German for the same reason.

I have 1 Japanese game, but couldn't really get into it, might re-try again someday. Kind of hard to follow instructions in another language.

I have played some gundam games in Japanese with my friends. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother searching for a translator or learning the language. :o I'm too lazy

No, Only in English, cause i like to know what I'm playing, plus its rather hard to play a game when you can't even figure out where to go next.Give me a .ips patch then I'll play it.

I never played GBA games with foreign language aside in English. The only game I played with foreign language was Chocobo Racing on PS1 and that was Japanese.

Me? I mainly play in English but would use the language setting to learn other languages, such as Japanese since most games are in jap. So yeah I play in different languages to learn the characters.

I find it utterly pointless if I play in some other language that I can't understand. I tried once playing in Japanese and I must say, it was the most stupidest thing I have ever done. I found myself pressing random buttons until the story progressed. If you CAN speak another language then that's fine but if you don't, its a waste of time XD

Well, the games I bought from other countries tend to be in different languages. I had one GBA Pokemon Yellow in Japanese, another Pokemon Blue in Chinese, Full Metal Alchemist in Chinese, Sonic in Japanese, and Kirby in Japanese (though it does not require much translation). These games I don't usually replay, mainly because I don't know the plot and the music is great. Music and plot really has more power than gameplay for me.

For kicks, I will switch it sometimes to UK English and see how different it is, and if I can immediately spot the differences. I must have been pretty bored at the time lol, or maybe the game was just bad.
