I have only played a game in English. It is hard to understand most other games whose languages are not English. I don't know most languages.

I'm not very versed in any other language other than English, I only play in English. If I find a game in Japanese that I can play even without in English, I'll play it, but it requires a lot of pull from just the outside view of the game.Makes me wish I was bilingual.

well, i like to play games in english since the japanese games are hard to understand, but if it is not in english, then i play in japanese and in korean. it can't be helped that you want to play a game, but it is not in your language.

I've played a few games in Japanese. My prefered language is English but most "good" games that never made it too the US are in Japanese. Same with "good" ROM hacks. For example Kaizo Mario o.O

No, i usually play the game in order to read the storyline so its pointless if i cant understand what im playing.

I'm a RPG fan, so I don't usually play games in another language. However, I just recently found a rom that is an English translation of Star Ocean, which I am eager to play through, but that's about as close as it gets.

i'd love to play a game in spanish...i've never tried it (i probably will now that a member of dgemu), but my friend emily played a japanese naruto game...it seems like a waste of energy to try to decipher commands and such.

I think the game's story is one of the most important things, and if i can't understand it, it gets kinda boring. I don't play games in a different language.
