I would definitely have to say that Act Raiser 2 for the super nes was one of the most difficult games for me. A close second would probably be the Illusion of Gaia also for super nes, the puzzles in that game drove me crazy!

Zelda:OoT, Zelda:MM or... the classic "Donkey Kong" game... yes, I still have that thing somewhere. It's probably a collector's item now.

Zelda II because as a zelda fan I had to beat it and on my first play through there are parts I simply had to go to each area and research the zone to see what I missed/needed to do to progress to the end

Friday the 13th for the NES. Not only was it hard as heck, whenever Jason would pop up it would scare me when I was a kid. Its still not a bad game today, if anybody is a Jason fan definitely recommend that you check it out.....of course it doesn't hold a candle to horror games of today like Silent Hill & Resident Evil, but its still very good.

Like lots of people, as a child, it was Duck Hunt because of that damn dog. It made me want to break the t.v.

Oh god, I loved and hated Banjo Kazooie at the same time. As someone without internet access, I could hardly figure out half of the jiggies in the first level.

I love Contra 3. But of course I only played it in ROM form where I could rewind time so I basically couldn't die..The original Metroid is a pain in the butt, but somehow still way too fun.

Probably the original Mario Brothers. And Duck Hunt. I still haven't beaten Mario, I've made it to the last level but can't seem to get to Bowser.

Super Mario. I always made it to lvl 8-2, no problem, but for some reason, I could never get across the lvl without running out of time

The first Metroid. It started the awesome franchise, but god has the first one aged horribly.

Kid Icarus always got on my nerves. Just when I'd be doing good, I'd somehow forget that when you go to the edge of the screen, you come out the other side. Screwed me many 'a time. That reminds me, I should go play that again. ;o

...Hm...Several games. The most frustrating? ...I'd have to go with...I think...definitely Super Mario Brothers. Ugh, I hate all of the levels with Lakitu in them...especially...8-2, I believe. It takes a really long time to beat that level...for me, anyway.
