I actually don't mind...y parrents always set the TV on at night and later I had to get up each damn night and turn it off for them...So right now I don't really care if it's on or off, since I learned to sleep in pretty much any circumstances possible ;P

I usually sleep without the TV, but it is A LOT easier to sleep with the TV on. It doesn't even have to be anything in particular, just the fact that it's on seems to be enough to lull me to sleep.

When I was younger, I needed some kind of light in my room, but now I just sleep in almost pure darkness. I don't think I could sleep with a tv on unless I was extremely tired.

I don't like the television on when I sleep, actually.I like my room dark and quiet. The last time I went to a convention, I found out my friend was the opposite. She preferred having the television on. We compromised by turning the volume way down and I slept with a pillow over my head to muffle the last of the sound and to block the light. That seemed to work all right as she slept by the windows and they apparently creaked and popped both nights we slept there.

I can sleep without it on, but if it is on, it has to be something boring or soothing. I have Planet Earth on Blue Ray.... instant zzzz

I always sleep with the tv on, people complain that it uses too much electricity and stuff, thats why i use the sleep timer. I set it when i know theres a good chance of me falling asleep soon, so i set it for like 30 minutes, if im not asleep for that time, i reset it. It doesn't use the electricity that people complain about.

Yeah, I can sleep without the tube. Thing is, if some burglar or something gets in, he's gonna find out where I am immediately. Not a good thing.

I find it very hard to sleep recently, but I sleep without it on.I believe it is unhealthy to use the computer or watch TV just before bed.

I can't sleep with the TV on. Not because of the light, just because it irks me when I waste a night's worth of electricity.

I could sleep with the TV on... it's not a good habit, but I usually watch TV for like an hour before I sleep. I tend to leave on Boomerang so I can watch some old school cartoons like Dexter's Lab or whatever...

I feel more comfortable with the tv on when i sleep but my parents don't like how it wastes energy so they either turn it on when i'm asleep or tell me to turn it off. I'm just way too paranoid during the night.

I need it on when I go to sleep. But I have that sleep function which turns it off in about half an hour so I don't use too much electricity.
