maybe the first few pokemon games where the best, but the new ones I loose interest in to quickly. Maybe it appeals to a younger me more.Harvest moon. Now there is a game with some serious fun attached, nothing beats it for endless replayability and no need to memorise the 1000 different pokemon and all their stats, capture locations, what each gym is, what trainers carry what, pokemon catching tactics...etc etc

Harvest Moon. I mean, I'm a HUGE pokemon fan, but since I can't watch it anymore, I moved on and started playing Harvest Moon. It's really cool. You play as a Farmer, and I LOVE Farm Animals. 
So, I'd pick Harvest Moon Over Pokemon.I got bored with pokemon after I owned all the gymleader's with one pokemon, and you can't really do anything except battle. In harvest moon, you can do alot of things, it just takes time.

Harvest is boring, i could never reach where i wanted to go before the sun sets...Pokemon, well the sun usually never sets if it does, u can still go wherever u want

This is a hard choice. I just might choose harvest moon over pokemon since harvest moon's storry mode lasts longer than pokemons

I like both. Pokemon is fun, but I get bored so easily with it, so I switch to Harvest Moon and then back to Pokemon when I get bored again.

Pokemon for me, i never really liked harvest moon, but hey, that's just me.I didn't like the farming idea, I prefer more violence (but not too violence), hence my decision for Pokemon.

Geez, don't you guys get any satisfaction out of building and maintaining something with your (digital) hands? Harvest Moon is great fun when you get the farm up and running properly while Pokemon just makes you do a pokemon battle every few steps for the entire game.

I'd choose pokemon. Harvest moon is so repetitive, and while pokemon is like battle battle battle, it's a whole lot better than remove the weeds, water the plants etc. I mean, why would people with game consoles want to farm in the first place? :/ The game brings irony to a whole new level.

Pokemon is an easy, good, addictive, gotta catch' em all-ish type of game which is easily enjoyed by people of all ages. Though I prefer Harvest Moon, for it is relaxing and varied and openness, for your brother I would keep safe with pokemon, as the slow pace of harvest moon might bore unpacient people. hope I helped

Pokemon is better than Harvest Moon. Harvest moon was the boringest thing I ever played besides Dark cloud.

I'd say Pokemon because they are super adictive...and because I've never played a harvest moon game for the DS.
