Harvest moon. The game goes on infinitely, whereas pokemon just stops once you beat all the higher level ups. Sure you can keep on drudging through and leveling up your pokemon, but in harvest moon it just keeps going, there's always something new to discover, a new plant, new building, new jewel. It keeps you coming back for more, the pokemon series just keeps on repeating itself, and it only holds my attention for about a day.

Harvest moon is a better time sink then Pokemon. What i'd like to see though is a Animal crossing/Harvest moon game. Animal crossing had alot of things Harvest moon didn't (Oh and add in Rune Factory's battle system). Imagine the options in a game like that.

i choose harvest moon.i've been playin it for ages since the first one.i really hooked to it.i love all harvest moon game especially harvest moon back to nature.i play pokemon to but i guess my heart is for harvest moon.

pokemon has got to be my favourite game over harvest moon, don't get me wrong, i think they are both great games, but i prefer pokemon.

I personally would prefer Pokemon. Pokemon Sapphire is my favourite game of all time (I have over 500 hours of gameplay on it...good times...), but I would prefer HM over some of the newer Pokemon games like the Mystery Dungeon series or D/P.

so i have yet to play the new harvest moon games, i actually haven't played them since the original on SNES. (i still play that one regularly too) and i do have pokemon pearl. and if the harvest moon games have kept up with the times and continued to improve i would have to choose them over pokemon any day. I'm just gonna have to pick up harvest moon and find out

I love harvest moon, but with every new version they make the game gets worse and worse.. I rented the Wii version on the weekend and it was the most horrible thing I've played

Definitely Pokemon.Harvest Moon is good too, but competitive battling in Pokemon is just awesome. However, Pokemon games have consistently gotten worse every generation, so one day Harvest Moon might soon overtake it in my books.
