I like them both... as of recently I've played more Pokemon than Harvest Moon, although before I wouldn't even take a second glance at a Pokemon game. I guess it's kinda switched now. I want to play Harvest Moon, but I always back out at last minute because I dread the thought of farming. And raising a family. And animals.

Harvest Moon is like life of a farmer and such.I would get harvest moon if you like games that let oyu make your own life.Pokemon is like a make believe game.I would choose pokemon if you want adventure.For me id preferably choose pokemon cause its more fun and challenging.

Phew, both games are so different in goal and gameplay that I can't really compare. I can say I enjoyed both games just as much, in different aspects....Still, the Mysterious Dungeon (red) game makes me lean a bit more towards Pokémon.

Both have cool factors but i would pick pokemon because it has more fighting.

pokemon because no matter how many times you do it over it is always fun, whereas harvest moon becomes a little too boring for me.

id pick tetris.when u think about it...harvest moon and pokemon have so much similaritesu take care of animals, u feed them, they can fit into tiny balls that shootz laser beams, they can fight and also shoot laser beams. and u go fishing

I haven't played Harvest Moon, but from what I hear and see, I think I'd prefer Pokemon.

i've got both but i'd go with pokemon because personally harvest moon doesn't have much to do except a long winded storyline that takes forever to really move on with, while pokemon gives you something to do during & after playing the story line

I'm a pokemon fan, but I'm gonna choose Harvest Moon, because Pokemon games are getting boring with the same storyline for everygame.

mine too i love pokemon the game is too fun i love it so much that i bought every single pokemon game even pokemon revolutionto me pokemon is 999999999999999999x better than harvest moonpokemon is my favorite whats yours

As much as I love to play Harvest Moon, I think that if you've played one, you dont need to play another, but on the hand with Pokemon, the same general feel is there for every game, but at least with Pokemon you have new pokemon. So I'd have to say Pokemon.

Most of the time I'd rather play pokemon over harvest moon. It occupies slightly more thought for me of the two.

i love harvest moon, i've played it for GBA and PSX. I would pick Harvest Moon over POKEMON, pokemon is just a boring adventure. I've found it boring within the first hour. Harvest moon on the other hand, take time to grow the farm and eventually grow your love for the game. That's my 2 cents.

Its just that pokemon has more strategy and it has a better story than harvest moon in my opinion.
