Harvest Moon because it has more "re-playability" than pokemon. Pokemon can get old after a while... I mean there are only so many times you can change your team right?

I like Harvest Moon.. Pokemon is practically the same thing while there's a new game in Harvest Moon. You can do anything in Harvest Moon and its somehow adicting.

I would say pokemon simply because I find it more difficult in the new games to collect all the pokemon, while I find Harvest Moon a little more repetitive. Both have similar styles though, I just prefer the battling and trading in Pokemon, while I find some of the walking around in Harvest Moon kind of aimless. Also, Pokemon has a lot of puzzles and dungeons to keep you thinking, well, somewhat, but I find that a little lacking in Harvest Moon

harvest moon. on the surface it sounds like a really boring game (farm, etc) but it really grows on you

I like both but I'm more into pokemon because despite what people think there is strategy to it and it's more fun and long lasting also the fact you can keep collecting more and different pokemon, and also breed them into better and or interesting pokemon is quite cool also the storyline can be sometimes interesting and almost funny thou mostly corny but still I like it over harvest moon.

Harvest moon and Pokemon are two different games i think.I like the two games, Harvest moon cause i like the environment and personnagesand Pokemon cause i like bring up strange animal ^^ and the story.

I'm a fan of Harvest Moon. I play all the version in PS1, GBA and PS2 (though PS2 is quite "wow" I have no time to play it...full 3D and time runs very fast...)Pokemon for me sometimes quite boring...

Pokemon, for sure. Harvest Moon is alright.. but.. wow did I almost type Pokemon was more real to me? Haha, anyway. I just prefer Pokemon lol ^^

i tried harvest moon for like 4 minutes and turned it off and went straight to the pokemon games i own, thats how bad it was.

I like both, though Harvest Moon gets on my nerves a little after too long, because sometimes the controls are totally cracked out. I definitely take Pokemon, hands down. I still spend a few hours every week breeding and trading Pokemon, just because I enjoy it. (I have almost every Pokemon there is, trading is not really necessary at this point lol).

harvest moon is way better because in pokemon all you do is fight pokemon and other stuff that involves battling other pokemon

I never really got into any of the Harvest Moon games, but I have been an avid Pokemon fan since the very beginning, so for me it's a no-brainer. I love collecting things, and I love RPGs, so Pokemon was just a natural fit for me from the start.

I really like the in-depthness of Harvest Moon better, it's more my sort of game.I still play Pokemon, but if I had a choice, it would be Harvest Moon.

Harvest Moon DS vs. Pokemon Diamond & Pearl, I'd choose Pokemon, due to the fact that Pokemon was one of the games that was extremely Popular in the GBA/DS series.If it's Harvest Moon: Magical Melody vs. the 2 Pokemon games for the GameCube, I'd choose Harvest Moon hands down.Due to the experience that I've played GBA, then GameCube, and finally the DS version of the Harvest Moon, I find the DS one the least appealing and worst Graphics out of the 3. My best experience of Harvest Moon was on the GameCube, I had a blast playing it for such a long time.Pokemon is similar in ways, although there isn't any Pokemon Games for the GameCube that is Semi-like the original GBA versions, it's still great for the DS and GBA.Harvest Moon wins GBA and GameCube, Pokemon wins DS. I like both so I'd say tie.I really find the Harvest Moon for the DS disappointing, really. I still play Harvest Moon: Magical Melody though.
