hmm...i recently tried pokemond diamond and harvest moon ds. i haven't progressed quite far in pokemon yet and i just started harvest moon ds. between these two, i prefer pokemon. i find the storyline for harvest moon ds getting a bit weird...pokemon storyline is still ok.

I love harvest moon and pokemon, but their both different genres (cant spell) soo cant really compare.. but if its for popularity, pokemon wins... by far... but harvest moon wins for hardcore gamers!!!!

Heh, even if a game is good or bad as long as it's addicting and long I keep playing it. >.> So I'd go with Pokemon, Harvest Moon wasn't that addicting for me.

I like both 
Pokemon has an entertaining play, and Harvest moon has sort of a goal setting play.However, Pokemon goes by so fast, but there's still some contests to do afterwards.Harvest moon gets boring after awhile doing the same things over and over again in order to earn profit, but you start playing again after wards.

You just asked one of the hardest questions I'll ever answer this year probably. I love both so much, I can't really decide. I like the art style of Harvest Moon better, and the fact I get to grow crops and stuff, which is really interesting, but I like the whole Pokemon world too, and being able to battle against Pokemon and catch them. I'll have to say Harvest Moon on this one though (Apologizes profusely to Pokemon)

i like harvest moon more because even if you finish the game theres still yearly festivals that you can strive to win etc... well, what im saying is that there both REALLY fun games but you cant really finish harvest moon 100% so i like it more (in fact, hm is in my ds right now!)

I'd definitely go for pokemon, even though it never changed much over time I thought the GBA version of Harvest Moon was fun to play but I've tried Harvest Moon on the DS and I really dislike it.

Harvest Moon. Any day of the week. Im actually surprised Pokemon is still popular, and I hope they quit milking Harvest Moon for every penny its worth. We dont need a new version of the same game every year....

I enjoy pokemon because there is a lot of action and you always want to get to the endI also enjoy harvest moon because its sort of like an everyday life thing. You get up do stuff. Eat go to bed. Also you have many goals and if you complete them you always get rewarded

I would always pick Pokemon over Harvest Moon until Natsume steps it up and starts making -quality- Harvest Moon games.So many random things are being incorporated into Harvest Moon now, whereas Pokemon is sticking to its tried and true formula.
