i choose pokemon because it actually has a storyline and some fighting action even if its just taking turns.

To choose between a farming simulation game and a monster raising game. I really enjoyed Rune Factory because it has the best of both. It has the marriage aspect and farming of Harvest moon but also INCLUDED dungeons with Monsters you could tame and raise on your farm. Trying to convince an enemy by petting it to tame it, while it rips into the main character was pretty sweet! Big fan of both series to be honest.

I prefer Pokemon, mainly because I prefer battling RPG's, but also because I like how the pokemon series has run

I like harvest moon more than pokemon but harvest moon does take a long time to play.

Although this may be my opinion it doesn't mean i'm trying to say that Harvest Moon sucks, it just means that i prefer Pokemon to Harvest Moon.

I think I actually like harvest moon better. Pokemon is rlly ownage but after playing a few dozen of them, the same old same old gets boring.

I just love Harvest Moon but I think Pokemon is better. The reasons are obvious... First of all in Pokemon there's the possibility of connecting to Wi-Fi while HM doesn't have any connectivity whatsoever.

Pokemon is better than harvest Moon.We have both but always seem to go back to playing Pokemon a lot more.My whole family plays Pokemoneven my Dad.. lol

Since harvest moon is too easy, i prefer Pokémon (and if you have wi-fi, Pokémon will always rule)

i prefer pokemon, however harvest moon is not bad.but i think there is a more challenging factor in pokemon.
