personally i like harvest moon much more than pokemon, cause harvest moon, its like the relaxing game of pokemon , but i think harvest moon is a game no to play everyday when pokemon is sorta, so it turns kinda boring

I've tried both, and Pokemon is getting really lousy by the years. Although I'm no fan of Harvest Moon, at least it's improving.

pokemon hands down it has an all around variety tho i do wish they would allow people to get some different sets of starter pokemon but pokemon definitely has much more to do and while it does not take much thinking to complete it take time n planning to do referring to 1 of the previous replies any can slap some power moves on a pokemon and watch it knock some others out in a few hits or even an opposition of elements kill but to make it so a i.e. dark can kill a dark with the weakest dark type move takes planning of the Ev points

To be honest, I've NEVER understood how on EARTH to play Harvest Moon, so it's never been a hobby of mine just purely because I have no clue what I'm supposed to do. Pokemon was my first GB game, and even now, it's still a must have - oh Pokemanz, always making munnies from me.

I use to find endless entertainment when playing Pokemon but now, my taste has changed and my preference now would be Harvest Moon. I enjoy things in a fantasy like setting just as the next person, but as Harvest Moon is a simulation game i can connect to it more and just have one heck of a time swaying the bachelors/bachelorette's in the game!

Definitely Harvest Moon, I like how you try to earn money and use it to develop your farm further. Helps that in Harvest Moon DS, there are so many things you could do such as Lv2 crops for instance. Pokemon gets kind of boring after a while, though I have not tried pokemon diamond yet.

I would definitely choose Pokemon. But then again I'm some lame megafan. Of course, I've always found the Harvest Moon games to be a little boring (no offense to anyone who plays Harvest Moon, I know Pokemon is boring to some people as well). But that's just my opinion. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to download a Harvest Moon ROM. :laugh:My life is one giant contradiction.

sonally, I like them both (but I'm accually posting for my brother at the moment, so he'd probably choose Pokemon). Harvest Moon is addicting and an overall easy-going game. Pokemon is an entertaining RPG that takes time to beat.GPs were deducted for this post, please read the rules! - shadowmanwkp

This ones a bit of a toughy, Pokemon has an ending at least were as harvest moon doesnt, well not one ive come accross because there is so much to do and never enought time to do it 
but once i have finished pokemon i cant start the game agan although i am quite happy doing that with harvest moon so what a douzy of a question

i luv them both, they're both entertaining but harvest moon can get a bit long winding and i always get stuck in pokemon...
