I'd pick Pokemon any day. Any time i hear the music or get it stuck in my head, i go all nostalgic and have to play the game hardcore for a bit... I miss the good old days with red and crystal....defiantly crystal...i still mourn for the battery being dead but the new games are just as fun

Pokemon...Although it's like comparing orange to apples, you know. Both are good in very different ways, its not a fair comparison.

i say pokemon. first off, it's a nostalgic game for me, fulla pleasant memories. it was prob the first rpg i ever beat. and then, even as an older and more experienced gamer, i find the pokemon formula to still be addicting and fun. usually only perfectionists or hardcore gamers like to achieve perfect files in rpg's, but most everyone wants a perfect pokemon file. gotta catch em all! it's designed really well. maybe the game is a bit easy for an rpg enthusiast, but it's still great for us cuz there's all kinds of elements to familiarize yourself with, different combinations of evolution, a plethora of attacks to choose from, rare treasures to find (in this case, rare pokemon to find), and all that good stuff.i dig harvest moon too, but it's a lot easier to get bored with it compared to other rpg's. i hate doing all the daily chores (the most tedious aspect of the sims series as well)

Pokemon not because im some fanboy or anything...but mainly because if you're into the whole battling scene (multiplayer) i think pokemon does better in the long run.

i like pokemon better =D harvest moon is okay but i didnt really get what i was suppose to do =_='' i didnt get the whole realationship thing XP so i gave up on it lol most of my friends like it and keep telling me to try it again lol maybe i will..... =P

I would choose Harvest Moon, but that's mostly because I love the relationship building angle it has. Pokemon comes close because I always love a good RPG.

They're pretty much the same type of game for me. I turn them on, look out the window and realize that it's been three days, I'm hungry and the sun has gone up and down in real life about 6 times.

I have Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness and Pokemon Diamond, and I'm perferring Pokemon. I've played Pokemon so many times now, and never seem to get tired of it. Harvest Moon gets difficult and somewhat repetitive at times, since all you do is farm your crops, take care of your animals, meet the same people over and over again...while Pokemon has many different cities to explore, and a goal not as difficult to reach as Harvest Moon. Well, that's my opinion anyway. ^^

i prefer harvest moon more, especially rune factory, its so much fun. pokemon is fun as well too though

Pokemon all the time!I've played pokemon since red and blue, and never played Harvest Moon, i dont even know how's the game play...but pokemon... it rockz!

well for me harvest moon is boring with the time ... and pokemon mm... well.. always i can kick ass

I like pokemon a lot more. There's a lot more strategy. Especially when you get t the upper levels and start getting into breeding chains and EVs and stuff like that.

i dont know too much about harvest moon, but no matter what i have to appreciate the complexity and diversity of pokemon. although every generation of games is essentially the same gameplay but with different pokemon, the type match up and overall strategy involved in the game has kept me playing the series for 16 years, which is something no other game series has managed to do for me.. so id have to vote for pokemon!

Frankly it depends sometimes if you are a girl then you would like harvest moon If you are a guy u will like pokemonnot to sound sextist but that what i hear everynow and then so yeapersonally i go with pokemon becuse u can do more
