He should never speak, thats part of his charm, not to mention a ton of fun when people respond to silence as if u were actually talking to them, or if the respond like u answered their question, even tho u never said anything

I would have to say stick with the txt because i like the old-school gaming feel that the silence brings and people would probally have a internet fight on how he should sound and the internet would crash forever.

Eh, no. Wouldn't want to break the tradition and all.Besides, last time they gave Link voice acting, we got those godawful CD-I Zelda games.

well the sounds Link makes in most GBA games are more annoying than anything (Minish Cap for example). I think he should either stay silent as a grave or get a real voice, hopefully a good one.

Hard question mate. I'd love to see Link talk, but at the same time, it's take some magic out of Zelda.Link doesn't talk because he's supposed to be a image of you. Thats how he was intended to be in the first few games. But lately, Link has seemed to develop more of a personality and has started to create himself as his own character rather than you.

I think it would be a great addition to the game if Link had a few words to say.

Bad voice acting can break a series. I don't think anyone would like it if Link himself talked, but if other people did talk, I don't think people would mind. It would be like Samus in MP3...

I think it would most likely be difficult to come up with a voice actor with the perfect voice to match Link's battle cries. If they used the same guy who did them, perhaps, but you can't judge a voice by the yells. I'd like to see a Zelda game with a different theme, while having similar and familiar symbols/gameplay aspects. Let that Link talk.

Link should not have a voice, besides if they gave him a voice you know it would be like ben affleck and then you would never play zelda again

I haven't hear Link talk since the CD-i games, and we know how those turned out. Usually it is fine if Link only makes noises. I don't mind him being mute or anything like that.
