I'm not good at handling anger. I usually turn away quickly and isolate myself for a period of time, but I 'll shout at people when I lose control, or if that person continues to bug me.

I will just wait for a few minutes until my anger subsides. I'm like a forget-and-forgive type of person. Yeah, it's not forgive-and-forget. I, usually, forget first my anger, then I forgive the person and not the other way around[it's weird]. My anger doesn't last more than an hour so I really don't have anger issues. And, being angry doesn't bother me at all because I don't do weird things when I am angry.

Oh dear...I'm like 30% hippie...don't strangle me... x:I usually don't get angry, just annoyed. Either way, I just try to calm myself knowing it's not a good example, being Christian and all ;(

I tend to go for walks or listen to music and shut out the world if im not writing. It all helps quite a bit and I tend to get angry less and less the more i do things like that.

This works for me: take a deep breath, sit up if you are sitting down and vice versa, go away and mumble to yourself, remember to mumble not to swear or curses !!

Depends on what I'm angry on. Normally, I'll start shrieking hysterically somewhere no one might here. But if I'm angry at someone I'm not closed with, I start vexing and cursing them. hehe.. jk.I play the piano to calm myself. If that doesn't work....I'll start punching the wall until I get hurt or my hands break :PBut that just happens seldom. My mood comes back normally when I eat sugar...or candy...or anything with glucose.Anyway, I'm sort of forgetful that after I got out of a bad mood, I'd forget the reason and move on :)

eat sesame seeds and drink green tea, it calms down, and helps coming back to your senses. try it, then send me a message with the results.

Hmm... I usually play basketball or read a good book. The basketball court and library are great places to cool-down. I occasionally will drive around if I have the money for gas.

Worst case so far would be slamming my hand against the wall...that stung quite a lot though, but helped jolt me back to rational thinking (i.e. no, if I killed this person/thing, I would be in too much trouble.)Otherwise, doing math homework or something else equally repetitive helps a lot.

Usually I don't really say much of anything when I'm mad, but I tend to glare at objects. Then, if someone angers me even more during that time, I explode and begin to verbally tear them apart. I feel that to calm down, the best way is to hurt things that won't hurt you back, like punching a pillow or beanbag.

I usually go to the gym or do some sort of physical exercise that usually calms people down and makes them feel good.

I find it very soothing to think about other things when I'm angry. Reading a book actually helps distract the mind too. But what makes the most difference is that recognizing that sometimes there isn't much you can do about a situation, that acknowledgement alone usually is enough to help me out and help me make the best out of things.

I put my head inside cold water. That reduces drastically the flow of your blood to your head, so you get calm in just few seconds :o

When i get really angry, i just start residing "It is in the mirror, it is in the mirror." i say that because i have always seen everyone as a reflexion of what they see in me, so i see something different in the mirror than they do.

Depends. If I can, I go off and do something else--like reading, which can usually make me forget I was ever even angry in ten minutes flat. Of course, if whoever pissed me off in the first place reminds me, I'll get angry again, but as long as they pretend nothing happened I'll be fine.If I can't get away and read, there's nothing I can do but to let it simmer and die down on its own. Unfortunately, when there are people around (the most common cause of my rage), there's not much chance of that happening quickly.Fortunately, although I'm very irritable and get snappish easily, I don't get truly furious all that often. Quite a change from just a few years ago, when I had a hair-trigger, explosive temper.

I either go to a gym, get my punching bag, or put on long pants and pretend that I'm drop-kicking into my enemy.
