My favorite controller would have to be the Playstation controllers with analog because it would feel more comfortable in my hand. I didnt like the Xbox controller because it was too big for me and didnt feel comfortable.

The best: Playstation analog. It is so durable I actually used my PS1 dualshock for PS2 games, it still works even after 5 years of hard use!The worst: Well the jaguar of course. When I first saw it I thought it was a myth, not real!

The SNES pad has to be my all time favorite. I thought I liked the 360 one, despite its rubbish D-pad until I played katamari on the 360, i realised i dont like the placement of the analogue sticks for that game and the ps2 pad is actually better I think. I miss the days of the C64 where we used to play with joysticks! Think I might invest in one of those arcade sticks for SF4.

The snes pad holds the fondest memories for me, (the first dragon punch on sf2 ahh those were the days lol), allthough i would have to say the 360 (untill i tried to use it for sf4 and realised i really need to get a hori stick for that game) so many hours on gears 1+2, - those allnight hoard sesions. As for worst ive never been comfortable with the playstation pads, dont know why they just dont sit right in my hands.

Call me an old fogie, but I still like the original NES controllers. They were simple, but anyone could figure them out! Worst, hmm....I think PS1. Mostly because I still can never memorize which buttons are where!

Ever heard of Nintendo's virtual boy? That had a terrible controller. In fact it is all around one of the worst designed consoles ever.

Best: Xbox 360 | Worst: Atari JaguarThe Xbox 360 controller is smooth, and comfy. The Jaguar's was uncomfortably huge and bulky....plus, it's the perfect controller for a console that already had a terrible reputation.

the best one is the dreamcast. when i was a kid i wanted one so badly and when i picked the controller up it was amazing. i finally got a dreamcast ten years later and it is truly a masterpiece i just really wich i would have gotten it earlier, oh well.also i like the original xbox one the big one. worst i would say was Atari, only cause it was unresponsive (if you played pac man you would know)

I really like the Sega Megadrive controllers. In fact, I'd say they're my favourite other than the Xbox 360 controller, which just beats it.Personally, I think the worst controller could be the playstation controller. Having adapted to the Xbox controller, going back to the PS1/2 gave me awful cramp and I struggled to use the controller at first.

i think all the hate about the N64 controller is because they dont know how to hold it,Nintendo though the analog stick wouldn't stand through the test of time. The middle stick is also a handle, like the ones at the sides.im going to number the handles from < to > 1, 2, and 3.Ok, say you want to use the d-pad, you hold handles 1 and 3, if you want to use the analog stick, hold handles 2 and 3, its simple.EDIT:I like the PS1, orig. Xbox and 360, and NGC, hate, Wii, and DS

Ummm, no that's not why anyone hates it. Anyone who calls themselves a gamer (everyone on this website) would obviously know how to hold it. Just face it, the controller was designed awkwardly. Hold it in your hand and then look down. You hold the middle with your left hand and the right with your right hand. That left piece is completely unnecessary and simply a waste. Honestly, it's not a bad controller. It functions well. It is, however, designed quite poorly and awkwardly. I had a MadCatz controller for my N64 at one point, and it was designed more like a Playstation controller. I found that was much better for gaming.

Mine is by far and large the current ps3 controllers. Those shoulder buttons are possibly the most hideous abominations i have ever had the displeasure of holding. The original xbox controllers were pretty bad for a while too till my hands grew enough to properly use it.Also i really liked the 64 controller it was unqiue and made for intersting uses.

Strictly IMO. In order of best to worst.1. PS2 DualShock2. PS3 DualShock3. Xbox 360 Controller S4. NES pad (for its simplicity)5. GameCube padAnd way down in hell is the original fat Xbox controller and N64 controller.

The worst controller had to be colecovision controller. The best in my eyes would be the Nintendo NES. I would also say the simplest controller would be the Atari 2600. I remeber biting the damn thing when i would lose. It had teeth marks all over it as i would get very frustrated at the game...lol
