This game is amongst my favorites for the DS. I was going to buy Phantom Hourglass and FFIII over this, but am I ever glad I chose this.Beautiful story, excellent gameplay, and it's as difficult as YOU make it to be. Sheer Epic in physical form.

The game is pretty cool, I like how there are so many pins but the fighting system gets old... fast. You just wipe your stylus all over the place and boom boom boom everything dies. Story line is just... so-so.Worth a play though, some people will like it more than others.

Haha, just finished it the other day. Game's fun, but I'm sorta intimidated by all the crap I'll have to do for completion's sake. Probably won't touch it again, even though I intend to. SE games tend to have that quality where there's too many extra things to do, and you know you'll be in for the long haul if you go after it.On the plus side, I just got the actual soundtrack too. Very very amazing.

Agreed. Waaaaaay too many pins, clothes, etc. If a sequal is made, co-op mode would probably be nice.

*Shugs* Huh, well I guess it's just me, but I love doing tedious things like that. I'm such a completionist, and it's pretty hard to collect everything, even if you cap your level. Once you do that you've gotta work on your stats manually. XP

Co-op? Are you kidding??? It is already hard enough for me to mingle... Thank god for my Wii. Or thank Nintendo...

The game and story were completely amazing. The aftergame, as some people have mentioned, looks a little intimidating, but realistically it isn't.Simply put, you're given a list of special tasks to complete, such as defeating bosses on much harder difficulty levels then you would have done the first time through, or to find a particular "hidden item" by fulfilling certain conditions by doing conversations or events in a certain order. In the latter case, there will be a quite helpful clue given, to aid you in accomplishing this. All in all, there can't be more than 30~ or so actual different challenges, since a lot of the challenges are simply to complete all the challenges of a previous day.The huge amount of pins was awesome in my opinion, allowing you to completely customize your fighting style. Now that I've beaten the game and have a few last pins to finish off my deck, all I have to do is rapidly tap the area where there are a lot of enemies and they basically get stunned and hit until they die, with a ton of damage.Anyways, I'd reccomend this game to anyone who likes action games, RPG's, or is an squareenix or atlus (yeah, so they weren't involved, but still) fan. - Natzor

Darkness infiltrates the light
_Have you seen the sun?
Have you seen the sunset?
It is the sun that runs
_The darkness is instant
But in the morning light prevails
_And a new day begins

When you download, platform-specific DPs are used first.
DPs can be spent by using some platform-specific DPs and some global DPs.
That took a load off your chest, didn't it?

I think it's a great game. The multi screen thing takes some getting used to (I still haven't figured out what to do in weeks 2 & 3 to get the combo thing). The music is really good though and the story line is compelling.

I loved this game, it was amazing, and not just because of gameplay. Who doesn't love angst-ridden teenagers and clique stereotypes?!? and its one of the few DS games with voice acting thats... good! and replay value. (if your into the SE 'master everything' sort of replay value)
