I think that's way too exspensive. I know a lot of people that would like to change their names but don't want to waste 800 points on something like that. Maybe they have a reason for it but if you ask me it should be free.

12.50 just to change your name. Thats a bit much in my opinion, and defently NOT WORTH IT. So before you apply, make sure you know what you want it to be unless your ready to drop some cash to change your name.

I'll be honest, it is a tad bit expensive, but you are essentially making some changes to the servers, so it should cost maybe 400, not 800 points.

Actually 800 points is $10 and it is a good price point because i wouldn't want my friends changing there name every day.P.S. Changed my Gamertag at least 8 times

i agree it is hard to register ur data to ur new name its confusing and it takes brilliant minds, which u have to pay , i think its worth it.I'll be honest, it is a tad bit expensive, but you are essentially making some changes to the servers, so it should cost maybe 400, not 800 points.

I think it should be 400 at most, but really you should just make sure the name is one you are going to use before you pick it.

It is way too expensive. When you're unhappy with your GT, it should be free to change it. A lot of people join clans then change their GT so it goes with their clan. (I have personally never, nor wanted to, changed my GT)

I don't think its too expensive, because people would change their name every week and no one would know who's who on their friends list.If they don't have the feature, people will complain, and if they make it cheap, a lot of people will change their name... which is why its 10$

800 points is stupid to canhg something as simple as a name. It's letters and numbers, why do we have to pay 800 points to change it?

800 MP is too much for change my gamertag. 200 or 400 MP is the pest price for change name.

The First change should be free , then the second 400 points the third 600 and rest are 800.

yea, it is a bit expensive bout 200 or 150 points max 300, OR a free name change every year or when you reach a new landmark gamerscore, says every 10 thousans lol

They say the points are just to pay for server costs or something? Changing names is not a strain on the servers at all really. Way too much if you ask me.

I agree with everyone who says its too expensive.I mean I have alot of Microsoft points, but you waste them on your name when you should be spending them on Game stuffI have friends who somehow manage to change their names all the time, but thats only if you abuse the report system, but ya, I do agree with the 200 credit price since your not getting any bonuses for 800, your just changing your display.
