My parents never restricted my video game playing, and I played a LOT of video games.

They took away video games if I ever got a B- or lower on a progress report/report card in school. They didn't allow me to get M rated games until I was 17, although I did have a friend get some for me.

They used to.... but a long time ago they stop... they just say something like don't spend too much time in the PC or playing... I actually I don't play a lot because of work

They'd take away our gaming systems when we were still kids. Now they don't because we have good grades in school.

AH YES, when i play video games its like GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK(even thought im done with them =\ ) or STOP SITTING IN FRONT OF THAT STUPID MACHINE ALL DAY but its not like im sitting in front of it all day... i DO actually go out sometimes...j\k i only play my nds or gba like 1 and a half ours a day when school times

nope. I'm 15 years old and i dont think they need to restrict me because i don't play 24 hours a day and i dont lose track of time playing

em yeah up to year 9,after that i can play as much as i like but if i got a bad mark then bye2 all of my game for the whole week or 2weeks

My parents were pretty open with my video games, just restricted how much I played for a healthy lifestyle.

I have no, and never have had any restriction on games and honestly i think that its helped me. my cousin is not aloud to use the computer during the week and only five hours on the weekend, and hes turned out to be a pc maniac using it when ever he can as much as he can being a super nerd but if you let your kids just use it when they like without worrying then they get bored of it after like an hour and just leave on their own terms. if i was only aloud to use it little times when i was young id be on it like crazy now but i just get bored and leave now and go do something else

I can use my DS when ever I feel bored. The PC I try to restrict myself from otherwise I get no work done, but it doesn't seem to work.

no they never try to restrict what games i play. they dont really care what kinds of games i play as long as i get the work done
