the battle system in soul calibur is much better than tekken so therefor i pick soul calibur.

The systems are tailored to suit each game. Would you like a Tekken game with SC 8w run and limited tracking, air control, clash system, ringouts, etc? The battle system in Tekken encourages a more aggressive and fiercer game - a minor mistake will often cost you a lost round as combos are much longer and do more damage. SC on the other hand is more about manouvering and exchanging single blows/short strings. Requires a bit more tactical approach than Tekken. I don't like the randomness of SC as you can hardly ever predict the exact effect your actions are going to take (mostly due to the large number of bugs) . It's a lot more masher-friendly than Tekken which leads to random wins over much more experienced players. SCIII is a perfect example of this; that game virtually killed my enthusiasm about the series.I'm going buy both games but it's going be Tekken that I play most. I only want to have my own opinion on SCIV.

Totally agree with NevanPL! I'll buy them both, but I think SC IV would be better with improved fighting system, new characters and of course with SC Universe. I'm so sad that in Tekken 6 the characters didn't get new clothes. It's so awful. Unlike in SC IV, where every character has new design. Go, Soul Calibur!

Tottally SC. Tekken is too.... strict. C'mon the newest one, you play as some 500 pound loser who can do karate. LAME!

Both games are going to be awesome, but I've followed Tekken since Tekken 3, I love the series. Soul Calibur is great too but I just prefer Tekken more.

im totally gonna get tekken 6 it looks fantastic, also ive played all the old soul calubur's and they are good games but they bore me a little bit

I was a fan of Tekken before SoulCalibur so my vote goes for Tekken 6 don't get me wrong SoulCalibur is great but Tekken came first and paved the way for SoulCalibur
