Please. Fire Emblem practically invented its own genre. Golden sun came close, but it's lack of follow ups was disturbing. Many people wanted more. 2 vs fire emblems 4/11 if you speak japanese, with another high quality one on the way? Not a chance. And advance wars? Many similar, older games do the same thing, only worse. Quality wise its good, but it can't compare. Golden sun and fire emblem are in a class of their own.Edit: My bad. I thought we were doing advance wars. Yes, FF is great, and invented the RPG, but Fire Emblem invented the Strategy RPG, and we all know Golden sun has nothing to compare it too. So FF can't be the best just because there are other great games that are RPG's as well.

I love all three of these games. However, Fire Emblem is not an RPG. To be an RPG, the player must assume the role as the central character, not just control him (even if they do hack legions of enemies to pieces with swords, magic, etc.). So, I voted for Golden Sun. As a series, I prefer both Golden Sun I and II to Final Fantasy as a whole, but I believe FF7 is the best as a stand-alone game.

I liked fire emblem the most because of it's epic stories and really cool characters.I did'nt have much interest in Final Fantasy and Golden Sun.

Golden Sun is a definite must... It is probably the best GBA game there is out there.The battle system is quite unique, and it actually has nice minigames (such as the tournament thing and the betting system, all from GS1).

To be able to enjoy the FF-games you really need to sit down and enjoy the story, the feeling, the world and characters in it. You need to have patience to enjoy FF. Golden Sun is great as well, but the FF-stories are superior to the one in Golden Sun. Havent played fire Emble, might try it since you guys seem to praise it..

Yep, agreed. When I had PS1 i played FF7 and FF8, they were gr8. But on my GBA M, most of time I spent on Fire Emblem. That's so gr8 game, probably my fav for gba.

FF is the best, but FE is also good, but FE's too hard for the beginners like me.In my opinion, Golden sun isn't good,because its gameplay and story is complicate.Fan of Golden Sun.please spare me!

normally id pick Final Fantasy hands down, but for the GBA, Fire Emblem definitely prevails. otherwise, FF all the way!

final fantasy requires a good amount of dedication to get anywhere, or a guide from gamefaqs. Fire emblem is my favorite, due to the amazing tactical gameplay.

Having never played Fire Emblem I can't really comment on it. But between the other two, Final Fantasy and Golden Sun, I would have to definitely say Golden Sun is my all time favorite. I definitely would love to see a Golden Sun 3.
