I honestly don't think that Final Fantasy belongs on the GBA or DS. While PS1 and SNES had the pixels going on, which aren't all too pleasing to look at now--I consider that the more official way to play it. I love both Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem, and both are very VERY different. First you can take into consideration FE's hardness factor. I would say FE is for more of the hardcore crowd that can take a beating; mostly because when one of your character's die there is no phoenix downs or revival spells. Which more or less causes me to have this overwhelming urge to throw it into the fire of oblivion.Now, I like it for it's interesting (yet watered down compared to FF) storyline. I also enjoy it for it's tactics, which are quite frustrating yet acceptable. It is no Final Fantasy or Golden Sun, that is for sure. It is very open ended, takes me half as long as FF if I'm feeling level-happy; and can end differently every time. FE:7 (Rekka No Ken or Blazing Sword) goes a step farther and actually places you into the game. Quite interesting. No FF game has done that--ever. Minus XI (11) if you count that as you.Final Fantasy is more of a story-telling game. That is always how I have viewed it. You simply move the character, have fun battling--and sit down with a nice cup of tea and listen to the characters either whine about their problems--or save the world. Majority of the time, it is both rolled into one. I suppose most can find that annoying, but I somewhat enjoy it; after all it is interesting and different every time. Different classes, different spells, and probably a bit more focused on six characters over FE's 43+ or how many they friggin have. It's a lot more personal then Fire Emblem, focusing on the characters a tad bit more, if you catch my drift.In the end, I'll say FE and FF tie in my book.

Fire Emblem. Golden Sun hasn't come out with anything for ages, whilst games like Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem have.Gameplay wise-Fire Emblem. Golden Sun. Final Fantasy.Character Development- Final Fantasy. Golden Sun. Fire Emblem.

my favorite is fire emblem because when someone dies they dont come back that makes a good strategy game with also loads of charactersthat cant all be used in 1 playthrough.

i prefer FE and GS. ireally find it hard to choose but i think i would rather FE it is more pure estrategy and i dont need to turn the world around like in GS.

I prefer Fire Emblem. I've only played a little GS, and FF is alright, but I prefer the tactics in FE way more.

although i like golden sun, i cant say that its better than final fantasy coz FF has a lot of versions...but GS is better than fire emblem.. take a look at the graphics.. way better.. hehe

I played final fantasy tactics advance and I loved it.I'm playing golden sun and I love it.I would like to try fire emblem, because I've never do.but I choose golden sun because it's really addicting

turn-base and rpg are different , plz undstndI like Golden sun and Fire emblem. I can't decide which of those two is better.especially since you can play both games several times, without getting boring of it.Golden sun is a 4 party based game. It's the classic version but it's just great.A great example for how you can boost a classic RPG with story, graphics, musics&sound and Charakters.Fire emblem is a strategy based RPG.You have to use your mind to win battles.Since I also love to play chess and other strategy games i like Fire emblem alot.Fire emblem has good story, graphics and music&sound. All charakters have their own story. Probably you will leanr more about your favorite charakters than the ones you don't like.Fire emblem is the best example for games that can be in a series of 10 with the same gameplay as the beginning and still be great.I hate Final Fantasy though. don't like the stories of FF and all that complicated gameplay.You can't really define FF since all FFs change from series to series.Even if it's a sequel to a previous game the battle system changes alot.I tried some and they are not really that great. Could it be that all charakters in FFs are psychos?It's a good example for games that can share the same name but there is no reason why...Well i just added it to complete the list, since many people say it is a good game and its only my opinion that i don't like FF. Agrre with it or not, but please don't flame me!You decide wihich is the best RPG

oh totally golden sun, the first one had the awesome storyline and intro to everything that would happen in the second one. the second one had some kickass graphics, i loved the summons in it. fire emblem.....i can never play that game for very long, the story seems...worn out to me and the graphics are....yeah...., and final fantasy, well it's final fantasy lol but i would still choose golden sun, thats a game that only comes around once in a while

Wow, all three of these are great games... Except I'll have to go with Fire Emblem being first ranked, Golden Sun being second, and final fantasy being last... But they are like... the top three games of my choice overall.
