i was in middle school at the time, and we had friends over playing star wars rogue squadron for N64. Well it was my friends game, but we were playing at my house. And we were finished and wanted to switch games, so i got to remove the game, and i forget to turn it off the system first. i put it back in really quick like nothing happened hahaha. Then turned the system off and took it out again. Well they caught me, and we put the game back in and turned the system back on and pretty much all the save data was gone hahahaha. man i felt so bad about that lmao, he had pretty much everything beaten too >_>;;

i have to say ive been through alot of memory losses in games. When i was 5 years old i dropped my pokemon yellow on the floor and when i played it , it was all blank, when i was 13 years old i played kingdom hearts chain of memories while i was on the bus, it ran out of battery and i lost it becuz i didnt save, when i was 15 i played the legend of the unemployed ninja: Izuna( which till now i still didnt finish) i closed the game by accident when it was saving and when i tried playing it again it was a corrupted file and i cant play it anymore unless i started new game... sad memories =(

I went over to my friend's house and we were going to play battalion wars for the game cube but one of his friends he lent the cube to erased all the data.I know that's not that great of a story but hey my memory's been fine for all I can remember. Unless you count my whole hard drive breaking.

Worst I can think of is my GHIII data being blasted by my 4 year old niece, because unfortunately, she knows how to power on the PS2, and she kept resetting it when the load screen came up.

Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (Playstation 3)I completed Knights of the Nine, Shivering Isles I had the most awesome armor pratically full resistance to magic I was level 30 and JUST got onto the main quest...my spiteful little sister took the HDD out when I was sleeping and smashed it....she doesn't live at home anymore...:(.But I cannot figure out how she managed to get the HDD out shes not the sharpest knife in the drawer....she must have found the instruction manual to the ps3...oh well perfect excuse to go buy a bigger HDD huh? but still not only did that have my Elder Scrolls IV data on it it had Devil May Cry 4 I was close to beating Heaven and Hell mode!! I had glitter from an art project get into my Pokemon Red. It was never the same after that, and refused to save.On the newer consoles, I haven't had any deletion problems, but my sister said HM:DS Cute ate her file when she turned it off in the middle of saving.Had a few of my DS games go through both the wash and the dryer, and nothing was wrong with them. :o Both AC:WW and Pokemon Pearl.

my worst case is probably when i played 6 hours straight of pokemon, and my saved file didn't really save, so i had to start all over. After that, i just quit :D

It'd probably be on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.My sister turned it off while it was saving, and I was pretty far.The game was my brother's and he's moved out, so I have yet to beat it...

Something like this is really annoying. The same thing happened with me as well. In this case, it was about Harvest Moon. I was in 3rd year and I have lots and lots and lots of gold. Believe me. Just two more zeros then I could buy a vacation house. But my stupid bro deleted it. Waaaah! How annoying is that!?

Ouch :wtf: Yeah i can't exactly hide the Wii that easily (the sensor bar is a pain in the butt to set up, especially when the sticky pad looses its sticky) but i can always commandeer the controllers (or even better) sneak the games into the DVD collection or somewhere in my room :(Which brings me onto my story, back when Pokemon Red/Blue first came out I sent my game pack off to get a Mew, which i got, but then a few months later my little cousin "wanted to see what it was like" so my dad gave it to him to play. New Game, Save, Overwritten :o It sounds petty, but for a 10 year old thats pretty damn traumatic ;)

it happened to me with super mario rpg. i don't know how it happened or why, but i'd had all four slots used up (some right before the ending), and one day i powered up the snes only to find all the info was erased. i was so depressed i stopped playing it for a while.

Super Mario bros. 3 on my old nes console. It all happened when i was 8. I was saving it over the night since you couldnt save the game. And dad took the liberty of turning off the console when he checked on me if i was asleep... I were so angry at him the next day. I was on the last level... But he doesnt do anything now.

Wow, a lot of people have had deleted stuff due to other people. I've been pretty lucky, with no deleted data, but I have no siblings :P
