Not my fault but I still wanted to cry. Just got Halo 3 and was playing it with a friend when the power died and we lost everything...everything.

I haven't really lost anything in terms of Memory yet. What I am worried about is getting to levels 70-99 of the Pit of 100 trials and the Power going out. THAT WOULD SUCK.

Losing your game is probably the most frustrating part of gaming. Even more frustrating than being unable to beat a boss. I have had to start my games from scratch so many times. I often find when this happens that I don't even want to play the game anymore at all!

My grandma made me let my little cousin play my Pokemon Red File. I told her he was gonna delete my file she said he was to young to know how to do that. When I get it back guess what happened! I had 100+ pokemon, I remember I had just caught a Tauros in the safari zone.

I was about to catch the legendary Moltres so I saved. Then, I found out that the memory chip disappeared.

I was about 3/4 of the way through playing Zelda: The Wind Waker. I saved the game and it must have glitched or something because when I loaded again the next day I couldn't go to the island that I needed to. I must have gone through every single walkthrough from beginning to end to figure out what was wrong but no matter what I did I couldn't continue on. I ended up having to delete the save file and start over from the beginning. :D

Once I had brought my GameCube memory card to my cousin's house so that we could play SSBM with my data (I had all the characters, he didn't).I was about to leave, so I left my memory card on the kitchen table right next to my mom, she moved her hand and knocked it off the table. When it hit the ground, the case broke off. When I got home, I put the memory card back together, and put it into my GameCube, luckily it was still working.About two weeks later, for no reason what-so-ever, the data was gone. All of my GameCube data, gone...

I haven't really lost anything in terms of Memory yet. What I am worried about is getting to levels 70-99 of the Pit of 100 trials and the Power going out. THAT WOULD SUCK.

That kind of happened to me once, I was on something like level 75 or something of the Pit of 100 Trials in Super Paper Mario, and I went into my kitchen to get a snack, when I come back, my sister unplugs the Wii to plug in the PS2, that was pretty bad.

On my case, it was even more frustrating...No, it's not an accidental deletion... it's more... I lost my PSP... and it had... TONS of saved games. At least 20 games I put onto it, plus many hours spent on emulators also on it...And the worst lost save on that PSP was... Disgaea Afternoon of Darknes... 110 hours of gaming lost... ARGH!!!Setting aside the data, I lost the PSP (slim model) which had my Sony carry pouch and handstrap... an 8gb memory stick which was 90% filled with saves and emus... and to top it off, a game that I bought and only played for 3 days... I had beaten Mario Galaxy with Mario and I was working on beating it with Luigi. I was so close, but my little sister deleted my file just because she wanted to be the first file. I was so angry.

My brother would constantly delete my Gamecube files partly to be a the fishing industry is suffering due to restrictive new legislation, so now I don't even let him use a memory card when he plays those games. (I remember this one time where I lost my playthrough data for Path of Radiance. I was pretty angry...)

One of my hard drives, the one with all my movies and music, died and was reformatted. So I lost everything. Luckily, I had a backup for most of the things I used.

Pffh. This happened recently too.I was trying to hook up two hard drives into a primary and secondary IDE configuration. I had it all set up, but for some reason, I couldn't read the secondary drive. So I removed the primary, and put my secondary into single drive mode.Nothing happened. The boot went fine, but the hard drive must not have been there or something. The BIOS recognized the hard drive, but it seemed that there was no data on it at all.So I took it to a place to see if they could somehow extract all that data that I had on my HDD, since I heard that even one or two formats could still leave traces. No luck. Somehow, my hard drive had been wiped clean. :shiftyninja: I lost 738 MB of emulated games and videos, and 6GB of music.

It happened recently (because I usually don't get save delete problem), when I was at the very end of Call of Duty: World at War. It came out of nowhere, and all of them disappeared. I know, that I lost only like 10% of the game, but still, I wanted to finish it.

Well i transfered all of my saved date to my new ps3 with a convertor, then i wanted to format my ps3 drive a little later, so i backed up all my data to a flashdrive, and tried to restore it but, my ps3 could not see those files, and i had already sold my old memory cards so i was stuck......and i lost all the data i had for all the games i had ever played........i was depressed for like a month after that.

Kingdom Hearts 2. Spent a long time playing through that game, finally beat it, and was looking forward to doing all the extra stuff. Come back to the game and...my files were gone. Never did have the heart to go back and play it through again. Now I get sad whenever I see that game...
