The wheel is too hard to control for me. It's fun to use, but I prefer the controller + nunchuck for competitive play.

wii mote and Nunchuckthe wheel is not really accurate with motions, so if there is a sharp turn you're done

I use the wheel. Its more fun that way

I prefer either the Classic Controller or GameCube controller...since they have the most basic controls and dont invovle tilting or the like

I am way better with the GC Controller because that's how I completely destroyed Mario Kart: Double Dash, but for this game, I find myself using the wheel. Probably because my 8-year old sister always wants to play it and I want us both to have fun. Something about the GC Controller makes playing that game a little more drab and uninteresting. The wheel makes things exciting.Sure, if I every wanted to buckle down and beat every mode perfectly, I'd probably use the GC Controller, but for my current intents and purposes, I'll stick with the wheel.

I strongly prefer the GC Controller.Whenever I use the wheel, it never catches my movements the way I want it on the screen lol.

I always use the wii wheel its just not the same with out it,i just love the whole idea of using it like a normal steering wheel, except you obviously dont use pedals.i have two wii wheels & 2 gamecube controllers & most of my friends prefer gamecube controllers though, they seem to think its easier.

I like playing it with the wheel though the first time I used it I was holding it upside down the whole race which made it difficult.But you know, once I got it right side up everything was good.

I personally use what I feel like using. Which is usually wheel style (not using the wheel attachment) and GC controller.

I find the Wheel really hard to use for some reason so I just stick with the good ol' Wiimote and Nunchuck

I prefer the Wheel, Then the Game Cube controller. Don't really care for the Wii Remote much.

I'm not fond of the wheel. I like the nunchuck/remote combo as I can play in a relaxed position. But I've been using the classic controller from the start, hence it's my choice of preference.

For me, it's all about the classic feel of the a gamecube controller. Ideally I would like to have the N64 controller.
