I have a Golden Triforce DS, the top screen does feel a little loose, which worries me a little x.x But I still have my origonal Black DS Lite, but the Microphone is broken. I have an in-ear one laying around somewhere, though.

Smudges. Smudges are the ultimate evil that keeps plaguing my DS systems.

I think the only flaw is the sometimes undeveloped graphics that companies that want to milk a console's target age for all its worth,I mean, why else create "Finding Nemo"?they already found him in the movie! Why again?!. And "Kim Possible" andother Disney games(acctually, i think metos was fine though....but it wasn't originally but disney was it>.>)

I'm not sure about common flaws but...The top-left corner of my touch screen is really screwy. Tapping up there makes the screen go all crazy, and if I'm playing Trauma Center or something, there'll be all this other stylus movement that I didn't actually do myself.

The most flawed part of the the DS is probably when your hinges crack and eventually, the top screen will go completly white permently!

no its the touch screen it stops working after a while

the screen is easy to dirty, touch screen fragile but ya we have screen protecters, easy to be damaged when droped but we have shock proof casses, and the hinges i hurt myself afew times with it clamping my fingers

the flaws I have seen is that after chatting or playing download play, it MUST be restarted.maybe.. it can be done without restarting, right?

The right hinge on my DS Lite snapped off... Thankfully, the wires and stuff are in the left hinge. The right just protects the power light thingy.

I believe that the ds's one flaw is adding the microphone. I mean, it's ok, but it being a portable game and all, it just wouldnt look good when you blow into it in public ;)

My brothers DS left shoulder gets jammed all the time, I also had a friend whose DS top screen was hanging by wires, and he used duct tape to keep it together.

I haven't have the hinge break yet, but I have a pink DS so it might soon. I need to remember to stop snapping it shut now.

When the hinges break I guess. Though I haven't experienced my hinges breaking. Just getting up a little dirt from flipping it around too much.EDIT: ... When I mentioned earlier, "dirt". I went to get a wet cloth to wipe it off. It's actually my DS's color starting to fade away... It's Polar White... There's another color under it? It looks brownish grey...
