I think there is another flaw in the ds, the corners of my ds touch screen ( original blue) doesn't work. This may be a flaw of my own only, or a flaw of the design itself.

My hinge cracked from the inside! then Part of the plastic thing CAME OFF! It sucks, the top screen is all loose and it really makes it annoying. But my Top Screen never turned white, My DS works perfectly, it just annoying now. Its still fun!

Well DSes break too easily when you drop them, they either snap in half or just stop working.(Rain + Window + DS = Broken DS :P )

They switched the volume switch to the power switch moving from the SP to the DS lite, so i mix up the volume and power switch, so instead of turning the volume up, i turn the power off.

Infinite paradoxes is what happens when you time travel. Don't do it :)

the worst part about the DS is that it doesn't have enough RPGs on it. It needs MOAR!

So far i never had a flaw in my DS other than the ding ding noise when you turn on your ds becoming high pitch but when i turned off and turned my DS back on it was good.

I never had problems with my DS, just the volume when I need to set to an exact level.

Well, my opinion is that the hinge can be easily destroyed. On the DS and DSL, a single drop or tug can disfigure the top screen. That and the fact that the DSL makes GBA games stick out and the DS can't play anything older than GBA games.

I've got a white DS Lite, and it's perfectly fine, been having it for a year plus? Nothing's broken and I seriously don't want it to break. Maybe it's because I've got myself a cover and such. -shrugs-

I have not heard of such problems being common. Maybe it is when people are a little to tough on their little console =D

The problem of my NDS would be how the touchscreen lacks sensitivity. It cannot follow the pen really well...

When I first got my DS, I noticed that the left hinge was a bit loose as I opened it up for the first time. When that happened, I was going "Crap, did I break my DS right after getting it out of the damn box!?" lolSince then I've been trying to be exceedingly careful with it....but when I'm playing games like Taiko no Tatsujin, I get wary of the top screen when I play like Oni mode or something...every time, my top screen just wiggles nonstop...

The biggest flaw is the fact that the WiFii doesn't support WPA PassPhrase which means there are a lot of wireless hotspots that it can't connect to. I don't know why they didn't add this support but it's a real pain when you can't connect to a hotspot because they use a password rather that a fixed numeric key.Jimbo

I don't think enough games take advantage of the features of the DS. It's got a microphone, so why don't more games use voice-activated commands? I'd love to play an RPG where I can give my healer a voice command to cast a cure spell on my party. This could add a lot of realism to many of the monster-raiser games, too.And the stylus. The World Ends With You did a great job of using it, but the majority of the games I've played don't. At most, it's usually for some minor use -- like the annoying glyphs in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow.
