I agree with u at some point...They've exagerated making all those new pkmns just to keep it alive...Anyway, still playing the old stuff and maybe i'll play the Platinum to see the new battle features and stuff .__.I think that allthe new pokemon they come up with now is stupid.

Dumb question I know ^^;; buuuuutwill it be possible to transfer the special forms from platinum to diamond 
?I wouldnt mind starting over (just for the new features), but at the same time.. that would be a heck of a load of pkmns to transfer x.x

actually....when you do transfer the special forms from platinum like aerial shaymin they just revert to their normal forms or giratina origin wont be origin in diamond and pearl just the same form it is in diamond or pearl....sad lol[link removed]Dumb question I know ^^;; buuuuutwill it be possible to transfer the special forms from platinum to diamond

there are many new stuff coming in Pokemon Platinum such as wifi clubs, new forms, new places, new characters, and most importantly, the main characters now have winter clothing ( Dawn and Lukas )Edit: needed to mention that shaymins new form is Sky Form and Giratina's new form is Origin Form. But Rotom also has new forms, 5 new forms!

Pokemon platinum... i remember that i read about it somewhere, it's the expansion pack for emerald 'n pearl. but i don't think there'll be 50 new poke's...

It doesnt have 50 new ones, BUTthere are certain new things, like1.Shaymin now has "skyform" Which looks sorta like a dog2.Giratina Has "Origin Form" Which he can only use in the "Torn world"(see below)3.The ability to visit the "Torn World" Which you can access from the Spring Path, where Giratina was in Diamond and Pearl, there is now a portal4.Rotom now has 6 forms! Tho they only work if you have the Event

I don't see how you could've gotten the name Pokemon Topaz, that was the original rumor for the expansion of Ruby and Sapphire, now know as Emerald version. Considering the red and blue - yellow transition

This game seems to be coming out next year bcause nearly all games that go to japan first usually come to USA a year later.

I agree with an earlier post, the new species of Pokemon have lost their edge, the simplicity of earlier Pokemon was awesome, but they over did the new Pokemon species and they don't have that secret edge anymore.Once I learn myself some Japanese from My Japanese Coach, I'm heading onto Platinum to check it out, can't be bothered waiting 6 years for an english port.

I actually live in Japan, until I moved 2 weeks ago. I wanted to get Pokemon Platinum the first day it came out, but then I couldn't because I didn't have enough money for it. I then ended up buying 2 USBs and a tablet =3Is the game fun? I'm hoping to get it soon.

I don't know if this goes here...The shaymin event in the US, finishing today, will be the Glacidea Flower Shaymin - when you transfer it to Platinum, you will get the special item to make it into Sky Form Shaymin.The Regigigas event in March will be the other important Platinum event - when you transfer that to Platinum, the three extra caves will open, and you'll get the other Regis. This will not prevent you from getting the Level 1 Regigigas - in fact, it will be easier.You may be saying "I got a Level 100 Regigigas already, why do I need a Level 1?" The answer - this Level 1 Regigigas will be allowed int the tournament coming up this Summer (I unfortunately don't have an English link, I'm sorry).
