i just watched the review...ive been playing pokemon diamond for over 2 years now (and non-stop during summer)should i really start playing pokemon platinum? the game is exactly the same as diamond and pearl...

I was poking around and found an "enhanced' version of it (some person hacking Platinum for kicks to make it more interesting). It would be great if it was really true. It might just be a rumour.It might not be worth the extra money though. Unless it is cheap.

I think Platinum is pretty fun, it has the distortion world and the world is brand new!

Pokemon Platinum looks great. I can't wait to get it for myself someday. To take on new challenges, old rivals and stuff. It's awesome to see this game take up the mantle of the old games. I hope for more Pokemon games to come about.

I do not have Pokemon Platinum rom yet, but I plan of downloading one soon. The changes in the game make it much better than the original D/P game plot. It would be lovely to get that Togepi egg so early in the game. ^^I also like the new galactic headquarters.

I have the Platinum rom in my computer, its much better than diamond and pearl because the game fits well with my emulator.. so I like to play it alot most of the time..

ive seen some comercials on tv but i quess its just like pearl and diamond just like emerald was almost the same as ruby and saphire.

Has anyone used the capture all pokemon patch for this game? How does it work? is it good or just too much chaos (as in too many pokemon concentrated in the game)

I've been playing through it, and it's pretty great. Consistent enough with the previous generations not to freak you out too much, and they throw partners at you that basically help you grind. I haven't played Diamond / Pearl, but from what I've heard, the story is somewhat better in Platinum too. I still can't wait for HeartGold/SoulSilver though. =)

well im a big fan of pokemon and i got platinum for real, its a great game better than ruby and saphire becaus i had the feeling that the makers just made stuff up becaus they needed new pokemon, in the i love that they had have new evolutions of great pokemon from last games
