The whole Pokemon Platinum rumor has been around ever since the release of the fake Pokemon Diamond.

i saw pokemon platinum on gamespot as an upcoming release. i just hope they make multiple saves possible.

Pokemon Crystal was after Pokemon Silver and Pokemon Gold. Pokemon Emerald was after Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire.Seeing how theres pokemon emerald after silver and gold. I guess that there will be a platinum as well.
I doubt it. If you could do that, you could easily get all of the starters without restarting the game or linking up. Obviously, they COULD do it (proved in games such as Pokemon Battle Revolution) but so far it looks like they just won'ti saw pokemon platinum on gamespot as an upcoming release. i just hope they make multiple saves possible.

yeah and shayamin sky forme looks like a really really awesome version of what used to be a lame pokemon. but I have a question how many of you are going to buy this even tough you already have pear/diamond?

Then you're looking too much into the future. DS cards can hold up to what, a gigabyte of information? What you're asking for is probably 2 GB or more.i wish they would make a game with every single pokemon in it... make it one long adventure. -.-

First of all, look how small a Micro SD Card is.Then you're looking too much into the future. DS cards can hold up to what, a gigabyte of information? What you're asking for is probably 2 GB or more.
Second of all, this card has 4GB. There are ones that hold more than that, too.
If this is possible, it would have to be possible to do that in a DS Card. Third, Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl have all of the Pokemon so far with only about 60MB used.

Lol, it IS possible for games to hold at least 2GB... *points at some Jap titles with 2GB*. But I guess Nintendo Freak didn't want it as big. sounds cool, if there is one coming out i hope they allow you to revisit the old regions like crystal, silver, and gold versions did.

There most likely won't be any old regions, but from what I've heard around the internet, Nintendo copyrighted names like "Shiny Gold" or "Shimmering Gold." For the optimists, it looks like we'll be getting a G/S remake.sounds cool, if there is one coming out i hope they allow you to revisit the old regions like crystal, silver, and gold versions did.

It will be an enhanced remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl in the same vein as Pokémon Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald. In May 2008, it was announced on the official Pokémon website to be slated for an Autumn 2008 release in Japan, although release dates for other regions are currently unknown.

It is true. And it is an expansion of the diamond and pearl version. But i dont think they talked about anything about 50 new pokes though. But they megazine said there will be some new special pokemon like the other form of the one that u catch in the pyramid (cant remember its name). But i am pretty sure they are more than rumors because i saw the picture of the megazine about it.

lol, platinum makes more sense than topaz. Platinum is worth more than gold and diamond and topaz is...well...not ^__^"I wouldn't mind a new game, if only to train new pokemon. I enjoy wasting hours of time grinding levels and then annihilating the gyms in one blow.I can't wait to get my greedy paws on that game. I mean come on! He's walking on the wall!

i guess i'll need to keep hold of my second ds to trade over decent pokes to this game, as people had to do with the gba generation of pokemon games. Really does suck because theres no other way to view some of these pokes and the gts can only offer/let you view pokes u've already seen.
