Wow ok hopefully its true! I think its highly possible then since they keep on making new games anyway. Besides, Diamond and Pearl are begging for an additional game.

The English version will likely be released in January or somewhere in early 2009.Here is what I know about it so far:New Key characters regarding team Galactic. New pokemon sprites and animations(4th Gen and Sinnoh Dex only)Shaymin has a new Grass/Flying form, can learn Air Slash, and has Serene Grace instead of Natural Cure.Giratina has a new form that has Levitate instead of Pressure.Rotom has 5 new forms, all are Ghost/Electric, and are based upon appliances such as a refrigerator(Ice, learns Blizzard), a Toaster(Fire, learns Overheat), a Washer(Water, learns Hydro Pump), A Lawnmower(Grass, learns Leaf Storm), and a Fan(Flying, learns Air Slash). All forms have the same stats, but all new forms have different base stats than the original Rotom.There are 3 new Move TutorsBattle Frontier returns. Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno are now available as roaming pokemon(like Mespirit and Cresselia)You can now have rematches with Gym Leaders, the Elite Four, and your Rival.Several pokemon have moveset changes.The Gym Leaders and Elite four have had a major overhaul, in terms of design, pokemon, and their levels.I got all this info from Serebii right here. http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtmlThey've been updating by the hour and probably will over the next several days. Pokemon Platinum seems to be made better than pearl and diamond. It is also probably gonna contain some new pokemon from the future games.

If anybody haven't noticed, I put some screenies on the first post.anyways, even though I'm not a "fan" of the Pokemon series, I just played it cuz I'm getting into RPG's. It's strangely addicting, with all the capturing and such. It's basically another "3rd installment" to the DS pokemon series.pretty much like how all the other Nintendo handheld had 3 Pokemon games each.

Totally psyched for this game, ha. I'm already planning out my team and everything. All of the new features sound awesome - especially the return of the battle factory, revamped E4, Gym Leader rematches, and that house you can decorate. (Kinda wish there was more stuff for the house, though... and that the stuff weren't so darn expensive D:). I'm totally setting aside some of my Christmas money just for when this comes out in English.

You know it's real because we have the Japanese version. :)Well, The last Pokemon game I played was Gold/Silver back when I was younger. But, I might actually play this game.
