I've started buying games on Steam when I've learned about it. So far I've bought one game (Counter-Strike: Source) :(

The only game I ever bought on steam was not too long ago, when I pre-ordered Aion Online. Otherwise I'm not that really into the games steam has to offer, except maybe portal.

I hate Steam, I tired 3 times to use it, and its just stupid. plus it **** up my PC and I almost had to do a full restore on my PC the last time I used it, so I avoid it.

Steam is bad news! I had an incredibly hard time re-installing games after a re-format.

I don't use Steam to buy games. I'd rather just go to the store for the actual discs that way there is no chance of complications.

Steam is a great platform for downloading games, but if I'm not sure if I want a game, I'll check it out on Steam before I buy or download it on the internet.

Steam has improved VASTLY since it started, i've had no issues with it for a year.I will buy games off it when they do the weekend sales (70% off sometimes) but shopping around is more likely to get you a better deal on most things. Like i found F.E.A.R for $15 in a store while its $40 on steam.

I've been using steam more often now, especially now that they have a massive sale on. When it comes to PC games, I don't bother buying from shops.

I don't really know how steam work, yet. I just installed it on my PC.But, I believe that you need to be plenty of free space on your hard disc to buy games from Steam. So, I'm taking the risk to be called "old fashioned", but I prefer to buy DVD and CD games.

You don't need all the space for your games. It keeps track of your game library for you without forcing you to download. You can even download to multiple computers then undownload and redownload anytime. DGEmu actually has a Steam group too. My Steam page link is in my sig and I'm a member of the group so feel free to hop in via my page.

I was amazed that they were able to improve on the original so much, but there were some bits that were annoying. The look-around-for-ten-minutes-til-you-find-that-one-patch-of-white parts.

i thought that shooting the moon was kinda lol.but this game did set up more room for half life 3 or hl2ep3, because it connects them because the missing experiment is a boat, and at the end of HL2 EP2 they talk about an aperture boat called the borealis.

the only thing tho that i dislike about using steam is that there is no number to call for customer service, and it once took a whole week before steam support contacted me.
