For me at least, I found the N64 controller to be revolutionary. and a great fit for the hand

Nintendo has always had the upper edge when it came to controllers. the created the d-pad, the shoulder button, the analog stick, and the trigger button. and now the have come out with the Wiimote. every Nintendo controller was so far ahead of its time that the other companies next system usually didn't have a remote as good as Nintendo's. So yeah, N64's remote was amazingly revolutionary, especially because of the analog stick/trigger button combo it had. although the C-buttons were a bit odd.

As crappy as it looked, it handled remarkably well.

I thought it was very comfortable. Slightly odd, and it had an excessive amount of buttons, but it played well.CMA

It was great... until Mario Party 1 and Mario Party 2 abused the heck out of the joystick, can you say blisters?

It's quite ugly but it works well. No one thought of having a d-pad AND an analog stick at the same time. I even use it with my computer to play ALL my other roms and it works great.Stevo

I really disliked the n64 controller. the joystick in the middle was way to awkard for me and the z trigger didnt help much either. games were good. controller not so much.

I actually like the N64 controller, although the Z button on back can be a bit annoying sometimes, it was overall very good, very simple

I remember when I first picked one up. I thought how the hell do I hold this. Turns out you can use either the d-pad OR the analog stick depending on the game. That blew my mind away.

It was decent, but I like the playstation one better. There is a reason the playstation one hasn't changed since they added the joystick.

I think it is both good and bad. The joystick is bad because they break pretty easily but it isn't too bad otherwise.

it's an awesome controller... it fits your hands just fine but the control stick was a bit dodgy since it wore out quickly.

It looked pretty cool at first... but in the end, i came to the conclusion that i hate it. You may aswell buy like 5 extra controllers, because mine would break monthly. But atleast it was an origional concept.

It sucked. It was hard to hold and hurt my hands. There really was no point for a third appendage, because it made it harder to access certain buttons on the controller. Whoever made the controller should just die.

I loved the N64 controller! It worked so well for all the games I've played. I remember getting my Gamecube and being really annoyed at the controller setup, it just didn't feel right.
