My sister talks about this one called Jikoku Shojo (Hell Girl) and there was this one line that got me thinking:"I'm sorry you had to the see the world as it is today. It used to be a better place, people used to be kinder. But then men forgot that they can go to hell for your sins and it went through a path of destruction"Looking at things now...yeah

Well, sometimes. Anime sometimes made me thought about "What happened to me if I were in the main character? Did I have strong resolution to solve a problem like he/she did" or else. I think that anime give us more than entertainment....

Temporarily, then I realize that the anime is occuring not in real life.

i remember that rurouni kenshin had some good "deep thinking" moments. sailormoon has some of those too. yet, i seriously cried at the bleakness of it all at the end of grave of the fireflies

sometimes they have some kind of deeper meaning, if you pay enough attention to whats behind it and not just the drawings.

Some of them crack me up really badly. Some of them are lame. But every once in a while, it has gotten me thinking. And that every once in a while, is usually every day. :gs:

there are many anime series that make you feel for the characters, that move you to the point of tears/anger/happiness etc.that goes for everybody, including myself. unlike everybody else, however, i actively do something about it, so the unhappy aspectsare quickly removed.

Well... Yes... Sailor Moon had me thinking about what's right and what's wrong about things happening in this world. Weird me ^^;It's true that anime usually portray various emotions much better than other cartoons and shows...

Yep. Anime and Manga somehow made me think that there's something we haven't discovered and gotta find out about it.

I guess something like death note and others makes watching animes more interesting since it lets you think about stuff you never really thought about

It has. A lot of times. It might be one of the reasons why I continue watching anime even if I'm past the usual (please note: USUAL, not always) age of outgrowing the cartoons. The different stories of different people, even if unrealistic, is idealistic. =)) I didn't get what I just said. But yes, animes have made me think deeply and they are just too many to mention. :laugh:;

Yes, anime had made me think deeply. I want to control my aggressive feelings as much as possible. I don't want to be like Sasuke.

Death Note made me think for a while the possiblity of dying for no reason other than a person's perception of you. It also made me wonder if I had the power to kill anyone without risk of conviction, would I and who.
