Dance Dance Revolution is all about using your feet with the pad. To translate it on to the DS would mean you're sacrificing the key component of the game to apply it to other systems. I think the same for the Guitar Hero DS games. Without the guitar, you take away the element of the game that makes it what it is.

I don't think you could call it DDR b/c you're not dancing, but it sounds a little like GH on DS

I'm wondering why they did not make it yet.I mean, gameplay-wise it should be cake.Touch the arrows as they come up in the screen, fast-paced, user-friendly, addictive.Add special choreographs, great music and you are set. What do you think?

If they did this, I would commit suicide! DDR is the only thing I never want Nintendo to adapt for the DS.

I don't think that would be very good seeing as you don't dance.

well back in the day, konami made DDR for the gameboy color, and included a special adapter that fit over the controls. i'm not sure if it would work in terms of the screen due to the fact that it seems to only sense one point anywhere on the screen at any given time

unless you use your fingers to make a mini person i think that DDR should stay the same for people to actually dance

Yes! That would be cool! I'm always wanting something to do with my DS on the city bus, and DDR would be a sweet adittion!

I think that DDR is best in its original form. If it were just pushing buttons, there are many games which are similar already.

Revolution isnt the best word. You can't dance on a DS. While i guess you can. It would be more like guitar hero, but it wouldnt even have keys.... It would still be fun because it is fast paced. But the DDR idea is bad.

is this serious? How can you control it? Do you stomp on your ds touchscreen? >=( I think other rhythm games with a different element would do fine. I mean using instruments
