if it used the touch screen it would be impossible, the touch screen is a center point touch screen, meaning if you touch in multiple places, the screen would find the center of those places, and pretend you touched there. My point is that if for example you need to press left and up, the ds will think you pressed down.oh well, its possible for one hand for touch screen, and another for the D-pad/ABXY buttons, or one hand d-pad and other ABXY buttons. wouldn't work any other way.

no it would kill the game itself because i can't see you using your feet on your ds.

yeah i reckon thas a good idea, they sorta already have theat going on atm on little girls versions of rhythm dance games tho, and most of the dance dance songs are...welll...gettin completely rubbish as the ears go on, if they brought out the early ones like Euro-mix i'd be a happy Bunny!!

it's not called ddr for nothing... pressing buttons isn't dancing!!! Plus they have guitar copy cat games like that online.

No, I don't think they should make it. It would kinda ruin the original concept of the game.

It's kindof hard to play the DS with your feet. :) I realize there's a market for playing DDR with your fingers, etc., but that's mostly cornered by the free Stepmania. So your best bet would be some musical coordination game other than DDR, sorry.

It would be basically like Stepmania, which is okay, but just not as fun as regular DDR.

Why dance dance revolution on ds? It would not be dancing unless there was a dance mat!

yep, DDR won't be perfect with the dance mat. so DDR won't come in handheld consoles... :)

but if you think about it, it would be gripping if you were on a long ride... you know how you could tap the screen to dance (and i also like guitar hero on ds!)

Try hitting jumps with a touch pen. Or hands. Yeah. You can't even do it using the D-Pad (except for certain jump combinations). It's not feasible.

I think it'd be ok, but it'd be more like stepmania, which isn't really a bad thing, In The Groove, is a way better game than DDR anyway, but this would work well either using the touch screen or buttons for the steps.... that and if you were able to load your own step charts like ITG.... then it would be AMAZING!!!!

I'm wondering why they did not make it yet.I mean, gameplay-wise it should be cake.Touch the arrows as they come up in the screen, fast-paced, user-friendly, addictive.Add special coreogrhapies, great music and you are set. What do you think?

good point.it's like DJMAX on psp.we should have one of those games on ds.i love those kind of games, after rpg!except that kind of game wouldnt be using the feature of DS-the touch screen.and anyway, you wouldnt want to press buttons and halfway through draw patterns on the screen!although ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS game is quite similar.you touch the discs when they reach the end of the touch screen and halfway through a few challenges come up,drawing stuff and talking etc.so try that:D

that sounds like a good idea, but i think they shouldn't.it's like playing ddr with a controller. even if they have the touch screen it isn't that fun. just like for example point blank, it's more fun with the gun controller. ddr is more fun with the dance pad T:
