To be honest i've only seen children with DS so far.Anyways here in Portugal i barely see somenone with DS or PSP, but it seems PSP is more poular here.Also i haven't seen girls with either so far. I guess here people prefer music and laptops (to play CS, other FPS and football/car racing related gamesI think this question is impossible to get a decent awser: some days ago one of my female friends said that "DS is a child thing", but some minutes later she was enjoying a Mario Kart DS.....

I think boys are more likely to play the DS since mostly boys play games consoles (yes I know this has been mentioned in above posts.)However, compared to all consoles, I'm probably guessing more girls play the DS than any others (or possibly Wii) as it offers a more interesting way to play. Also, I think there are quite a few girly games on the DS like fashion ones and looking after your pet dog etc.

boys. even though there are some games out there that are aimed towards girls, boys still play Ds the most. There is a lot of games the appeal to boys more like Final Fantasy or Zelda.

I am a mum that plays the ds and i know there are more mum's to play with it. It is little, can in mij handbag and i can play when i have to wait in school, in the hospital and everywhere else.

I think it's probably boys. I see a lot of girls playing now though, with all the games marketed for girls. I think they are staring to catch up.

I'm leaning more towards the boys. This is because there is a vast majority of games that suit the male nature, not saying that girls can't play this game.

I think that it may be about even. Boys probably don't play it as much as girls, but there are more boys who play video games than girls. But I also think that younger boys tend to play the DS more than older boys, whereas both younger and older girls play the DS. So I think that balances it out.

I think more girls especially since they're creating so many.. girly games for the DS. More boys, at least I think, are into systems like the Xbox, Playstation, etc. Of course I have also seen a lot of boys playing DS's. Maybe even more then girls.

Maybe the girlsbecause I think that the DS is more for girls and the play station more for boys...but itīs only my opinion

this statement can be taken 2 ways. who plays game more or who play more games. I beleive that Boys are the target audience for most of the DS games out there as to who play s the most I would have no clue other than the gender stereotype that says guy play games more. But girls are catching up.

i'd say theyr about the same. actually ds got games that r more girly than psp like cooking mama, barbie and stuffs but girls don't buy consoles comparing to boys...so...

Probably Boys, Becauseboys start playing video games and stuff at 5 yrs old, Because the games are like wars and stuff. Girls dont start playing those makeover games or Imagine till there 7 or 8.

I believe the majority of people that plays gaming consoles would be mostly guys. Most games are meant for guys anyway, basically the logic is that since most games are meant for guys, more guys would play it than girls. I play many roms; all of which typical girls would not like.
