They kinda tick me off because mechanics used in old games ain't used, and personally, I kinda like button mashing.

I agree that The World Ends With You is a perfect example of mainly touch-screen use, and I absolutely loved it. It really was a great way to use it, from the battles to the scratching off of the statue, to just... everything. :)

yeah, it makes the DS really unique, but at the same time...i get really into it, and eventually my DS touch screen breaks. ):

While in my opinion touch screen games have been a success and a lot of fun, some games do have Touch screen controls tacked on, when they are not necessary and indeed detract from the experience (pokemon intro anyone ? i really have to get out my stylus to press the goddamn pokeball and then put it back?).

In my opinion, the touch screen & stylus combination are what make DS truly unique. It's good for the DS games to utilize this function. But only if the result works in the gameplay's favor. There're some games which I feel like I need another arm to play, two on the button pressings and one for the stylus @@

Ouendan 2 is the best stylus only game! Everyone should play it from now on!

Feel the Magic and The Rub Rabbits are awesome. Rhythm Tengoku Gold (to be released in the US as Rhythm Heaven) is genius!

My favourite game is Pokemon Diamond and yes I would love it to be a Touchscreen only game, it'll be difficult at first to learn how to move, like the Iphone, but I'd still love it

Touchscreen can make things easier but can also make things harder. Like moving around in 3d is often cumbersome with the stylus because of the limited area to touch, but then it is also great for minigames involving rhythm and painting. Overall definitely a good addition to the ds by Nintendo =o

Smackdown Vs Raw 08 is a good touch screen only game, as is Trauma Center: Under the knife 2

I say the legend of Zelda Phatom Hourglass and THe world Ends with you are two of the greatest games that is touch screen. I keep playing them over and over again just for the fun of it.

The World Ends With You is hands down a perfect example of how amazing the touch screen system can be used. I never thought a DS game could make me feel so excited.POINTS were deducted for this post by KHRSPlease refer to the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.

I love you for saying that XD Time Hollow is so my new favorite .. XDOh and Kirby Canvas Curse is a good example of touch screen only, though I'm really bad at it, lol. Didn't it win prizes since the touch screen only feature?
