GTA on DS i can think has only 1 good feature, a touch-screen map, menu, save/load and others.

GTA for DS. Actually, I am very surprised, I didn't think it was possible. I don't know how it'll be, all I've heard is that it's going to be top down, or isometric view or something like that. For all you people who immediately said "*whine*this game is gonna SUCK*whine*!!!", well I would appreciate it if you would stay quiet. The DS may not be for closed-minded people like you. Before immediately writing it off (before the game even comes out, of all things), give it freakin' chance first. You can gloat about how you were right if people end up agreeing with you. Also, the "Nintendo can't do this! They're family friendly D:". Seriously, the DS isn't for babies. And lastly, the "DS can't do anything this big. It's not powerful enough." Excuse me? They've ported games to it already. You can play Disgaia on it. All they do is tweak the graphics a bit lower, adn everything is dandy. It may be a bane to all people who can't play anything that doesn't have perfect graphics, but someof us are more worried about GAMEPLAY. Tweak down the graphics, and with the current engine, they can make a game as large as they want. Want graphics? Play PSP. Just be ready for loading times.

I think it would be a great idea to do a new gta on ds because even if the gameplay is easier than the latest version of this game for ps, rockstar game could do something very interesting with the pen. Felt like reviving this thread because there IS such a game! :oAnyways, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is an ok game. Obviously, it can't really be compared to any of the console games, but it is pretty good. Similar gameplay, etc. I'd say that this game was a success (unlike many other NDS games). I wouldn't mind seeing more GTA games on the DS, as long as they fix the dialogue. Normal people (not even HxC gangstas) say "GOOOOOOOOOOOOL" 3 times in one sentence.

Its doubted.Alo, the DS appeals to younger ages.GTA is more succesful on the PSP if they want to go handheld.

hm, played chinatown wars, its not half bad. i enjoyed it while it lasted, the graphics arent THAT bad. i mean cmom its a ds!

Maybe. I haven't tried Chinatown but i think it has potential to be a very good game for the DS.

I've played GTA Chinatown and I personally hate it. the game has turned back to bird's eye, and the controls are shoddy. Definitely will not be a game I will complete, or play again.
