I played the first one, and it wa seriously too short. Most of the time, they made you train in different places so that when you go to a min dungeon you'll be strong enough. You had to trade a lot of crap just so that you can get something decent from a character, or find it in a dungeon. It was really the same thing over and over for me. It was boring to play for me :/

i had the first one for the original .hack series... i cant remember what it was tho. i remember the cover art, but that's about it.

I've played the first two in the original series, and got stuck on the 3rd game. I think the storyline is alright but for having a difficult boss that you have to go solo against early in the 3rd game, it seems to be really hard.

i've played the .hack series when you play as haseo.i have yet to play the older versions, and the third game.
