Just so everyone will know, this is for the PSP only (making another one on the DS also). It's one of those nights when your PSP is just beside your bed after playing it and you dream of something really nasty to happen to your PSP or anything related to your PSP. This one actually happened, when I dreamt my PSP actually throwing up my .ISO games (well it's a dream so anything can happen). Then my bro in that dream said that my PSP got tired of downloaded games and says that I should buy actual original games instead...Not that scary huh? That was when two weeks later... the dream actually happened. It happened when the folks and everyone went to binondo (our chinatown in manila) and I bought both my DS and PSP. It was a frigging hot day and worried that someone might snatch my bag with two of my (current) prized possessions, I left them in the safety of the car. Three hours later when we went back to the car, I opened my bag and bought out my DS and PSP. Man was my bag an oven, both handhelds felt like it came from one two. In my horror as I powered up my PSP... it didn't detect my memory card. That was one heck of a real nightmare. Even if my PSP was able to play original games, it couldn't save them cause the card reader and the card itself got fried. Though thank god that was the only damage that I could replace both with my current savings. Scary huh?Oh... what about the DS? Well the truth is... It's working just fine. Actually, it went through the same kind of hell as the PSP but everything still works. Just when you think the DS was frail than the PSP huh? This is kind of an example of a nightmare that has happened. But who knows if someone else has a much worser nightmare than having your PSP broken?

Yeah the PSP is very sensitive to temperature. My mom bought me my first PSP, and she kept it in her car to hide it from me around Chirstmas time (like I'm 8 and still go looking for them or something). But it was winter, and really cold.Come Christmas day, I go to boot up the PSP, and it won't turn on.Luckily I just brought it back to Best Buy and they gave me a new one.But yeah, don't leave your PSP in extreme heat, or extreme cold.

i had a dream that my psp wasdropped into my swimming pool by my little sister and well (remember its a dream) my psp drowned and it came back as a ghost haunting me for not taking good care of it. it went on a rampage destroying all of my possesions and trying to kill my by spiting out UMDs at me at high speeds. Then i woke up and found my psp laying across my chest turned on and got a fright. it took me a few seconds to establish that i had been playing my psp when i feel asleep.

Ahh, my worst nightmare happened.Someone stole my psp in broad daylight. -0- I left my backpack in the cafeteria at school and when I came back, my backpack wasn't even there. Then I had to go around and ask other people about it, and turns out, the janitor person "put it in a safe place." When I got my backpack back, my psp was gone along with $40 dollars that I was going to spend after school on a new game. I still suspect that janitor guy, but it's too late to find out now. -0-After all this, my other friend, who also has a psp, gave me hers because she didn't even play it. But now I can't play with it either because my adaptor was stolen too! I just have a psp that's not even mine, and no battery, and no memory card.Luckily, I'm not deprived of handheld games. My best guy friend gave me his old DS for my birthday. :P But still, I need to buy an adaptor and memory card for the psp. -0-

The time was when my PSP's backlight suddenly lit out.Imagine playing without the backlight! It became worst when the screen totally blacks out.I could only here the music playing.I was totally down after that, I was wondering if it would take me a lot for repairing it.Good thing my friend of mine told me that it would'nt cost much cause he had someone he knew that can repair my PSP.

It's not really a nightmare but it's when I deleted my Disgaea: Afternoon Darkness savefile with 70+ hours worth of gameplay (almost killed myself there). Luckily I had my spare MagicGate stick with the savefile on it. And another time when I dropped my PSP. Oh yes, the anguish. I thought I broke my PSP since I dropped it from my porch all the way down on the cement floor x_x. Now the UMD case closes, but has a dent on it.

This may not sound... okay, it will sound absurd, but it counts as a nightmare. The thing is, my PSP and my DS... are actually holding a console war in front of my house. It was actually a cool dream where the PSP bought out Kratos the god of war, solid snake, all of the apes from ape escape while the DS bought out phoenix wright, Neku from subarashiki kono sekai and the nintendogs. Kratos went all out on the dogs while solid snake is being hit by "Possession of illegal firearms" by Edgeworth and the apes are being blasted by neku and the gang. It may sound like a really good dream anyone will want to have right? Well this is a topic about nightmares and believe me, it's a scary one. The PSP and the DS turn towards me and asked "Why aren't you playing with him more than me" those two said at the same time. They keep on asking me that same dang question and I couldn't say anything to them (Not that I don't want to say anything, but because I can't speak at all.... dreams, go figure). Then I started running away from them but they keep on chasing, that's when the dream became a nightmare where something nasty chases you down and your sure that it's the death of you if that something nasty catches you.Course in real life, I totally dismissed the dream and continue on playing both the handhelds. This time around it's the DS cause the PSP doesn't have any other games I'm interested in for now.

Are you sure the PSP got damaged? Sounds like the battery was simply knocked out temporarily by the cold. Li-ion batteries don't get along well with extreme temperatures in either heat or cold. Either can damage the battery or in the case of cold, temporarily disable the ability to recharge. There's no reason the PSP would get damaged in the cold, nor any other electronics. In fact, most electronics perform best when it's nice and frosty.

Yeah it was just the battery, because I'd pop it out and just boot up from the power chord and it'd work.Either way, Best Buy replaced it for free...so that saved me having to buy a new battery.

Yeah i took mine on vacation, and when we went to the beach i had nothing better to do than beat 'Infected'... the second i beat the last boss i jumped up in the air and accidentally threw my baby into the sand. Thankfully i had a clear case over it so it didn't get damaged from the sand, but the second i felt it leave my hand i feared for the worst. :)

The worst nightmare about my psp actually happened to me. I bought one, and one week later I put it in my pocket. When I went up stairs to play some more, I turned it on and the (screen looked fine) LCD screen is all busted up. I got so angry, because I didn't even run up the stairs or anything. I just stared at it for like 10 minutes. Now though I am about to buy an new LCD screen, and replace it.
