To be honest, all the activity that strenghten your logical sense will improve your score on an IQ test. To see patterns are one for of intelligence, which is the most known form of testing as well. So yes, the Brain Training works at least as long as you keep it up

I completely know what you mean... After playing math brain games I feel like my math skills have improved, and in the short term I know a lot more in terms of multiplication tables, but then after a while, I forget them again.... This isn't to say that the skill set is lost necessarily, but just all the stuff that was memorized.

I didn't think so. I haven't noticed any changes but maybe that's because I didn't use it as a regular routine.

They do keep your brain sharp I think, but they are just so anoying and not much fun. Stop playing them for a few weeks and you just turn back into a DODO BIRD. Oh well.

id say it does because i got the poler white ds with brain training and first time i went on it it said my age was like 60 but as you go on it more you get faster at it and eventually my age dropped to around 30 but its not really accurate with kids as the lowest age is 20 i think but yea the brain training worked with me

I find I'm much quicker at everyday maths if I've been training.

stop thinking about IQ and brain efficiency as of some RPG skills. its not 'oh i got 20 brain experience, now i will be solving math equations 10% faster!'its a bit more like with muscles. by making your brain work hard its getting used to it and performs better with similar tasks (not just everything). but if then you dont use your brain too much it will be back to its former efficiency, because nothing more is needed.if you will play brain games all the time then obviously your brain will get better at... playing them. but dont expect it will solve all your school problems, give you infinite memory or IQ.if you want to be good at equations then practice equations. if you want to improve your memory then keep memorizing stuff. a game wont do everything. it may help you with some aspects IF your brain works hard on it. and surely whatever it does - it wont last forever if you dont keep pushing your brain

well id say it benefits you by keeping your brain active, so if you stop playing for a long time your no longer activating your brain, its just like working out, if you build muscle mass and get stronger from working out, then stop working out for a few months, the gains will go away
