Guns or Swords - What kicks harder ass?

If I'm a warrior or a travelling fighter, I'd bring both. but for kicking ass i'd go for Giant blades of fury. if i'm strong enough I'd carry 2 of the giant blades each hand. It would be harder to carry that's why you'd need more swords within your outfit

I would use a sword only for close range fighting and a gun only for long range.....Or I can all Dante from Devil May Cry and use BOTH a gun and a sword.....

Swords are cooler because they just seem harder to use. Anyone can pull a triger (maybe not while aiming at someone/thing,but it's not that hard to pull the trigger back). A sword on the other hand, takes a good bit of strength to use properly.

Guns have longer ranges, and have awesome power. For swords, you would have to go to the enemy, which, if he was holding a gun, it would give him enough time to kill you.

Depends on the setting, IMO. For example, even though the chainswords in Warhammer 40k are badass...it feels really silly that it's 38,000 years in the future and everyone is running up and swinging swords at each other.

Gun can finish a sword guy from afar, but why fight when you can sex? Combine the two and you're all set

Its an easy answer. A gun obviously. With a gun you have range. If you have a sword you have to charge your opponent

i say swords since yea its cool having a gun and i would be better suited for it in real life but i prefer swords mostly especially in games since i suck at long range. I'm only good at melee combat. TT_TT

Now THIS is tough.For guns, they go down quickly.For swords, they go down in a more amusing way when you slice off limbs.Ehh....I guess guns, if I'm trying to survive.

Swords >> GunsWhy? It requires technique to masterfully wield a sword. Plus, you can do cooler things with swords, IMO.

In my opinion conventional firearms (pistols rifles shotguns etc.) < Swords < Guns that make hardcore explosions.

I'd go for swords, cause they are classic and you never need to recharge it (like guns) and it's SAMURAIish!

well thats a tough argument. guns are good for distance, but so are throwing knives. with larger knives you would have to get right up next to a person which could be dangerous. however knives never run out of bullets.

Personally, I'd go with swords. There's a certain style, accuracy, and stealth to the kill that you can hardly get with a gun.

Personally. I would prefer to use both.A sword when used in the right way can well slice and dice.A gun is obviously used for longer range targets.

wel if your talking kicking ass then swords definitely kick harder ass but guns are still pretty cool
