Swords take much more skill to wield correctly and to fight with. Anybody can take a gun and shoot it, but it takes a true swordsman to execute his enemy

Anybody can wield a sword or a gun, but it takes real guts to know how use one of these weaponsI prefer to be gunslinger with only one bullet left

Gun, definitely. 'Cause with a gun -BANG- you are dead. Unless you have super human strength and speed and accuracy which is not possible.

I prefer to watch a film with sword fight rather than gun fight, it is so cool and amazing 
. but in real world, gun will always beat sword unless the bullets reach zero.

you forgot to mention if the gun had ammo in it. so i will go with sword...what am i going to do throw the gun at you? haha. if i had to choose a sword i would choose a light saber.

Let's see. The gun has range, unless you count throwing knives. (The person who posted about a gun attached to a sword handle? BAYONET? I mean, it may be used just for stabbing, but doesn't it count as a sword-like implement?)The sword is better closer up though (depending on what gun you've got). If you've got a rifle (long distance gun), and he's within 21 feet of you, usually the sword can beat you to the punch. Give me a Colt .45 with a single bullet and I'll floor a man. Give me a short sword and shield and I'll whack some heads.But. Give me an HK MP5 and enough ammo and I'll mow down an army (and rock the HK slap, of course.)

Guns, no doubt. I mean, swords are cool and all but at the end of the day, whoever has the gun is going to win out.

I think this question needs a better context. In assassin's creed, the swords play an integral part of the game, the counterkills and later with kill streaks just make the game what it is. In the final fantasy series, weapons really don't have any dividing characteristics, as the character's strength just out do the gun. In the metal gear solid series, guns are just outstandingly fun to use. In the end I would say that the gun would be the safer option, but the sword or rather the knife, is just as important as the gun.

Well if you think about it, a gun shoots faster than swinging a sword! But it is debatable about it cause of the person using it!

Ninja, old-fashioned style: swords! It's more gruesome that way, anyway...a bullet just produces a blood splatter, while swords hack limbs off...

i think that they are both as awesome as the other. guns can be used at long range, but will run out of bullets. swords will never run out of ammo, but they are only close range.

swords are the precedent of the gun and i consider that a hard factor to the danger level of the weapon.Several guns have made bad asses such as the machine gun, mini gun and the AK47 but blades cut into flesh before any bullet was firedBesides blades such as the katana and the long sword makes kings heroes.

I think that swords are cooler. They are elegant and seem to be so fluid in use. Guns are cool too, but I don't like the loud noise associated with them.

Actually I think two of them together would be the best. Though it's really how you use it. A master at swords would easily finish a novice gun user, and vice versa. But with the same experience, a gun would probably own a sword. Other than that, I'm actually more interested in fighting style, instead of choice of weapon.

Guns are ugly, loud, and effective. Swords are beautiful, silent, and primitive. Both have their ups and downs, but sword wins the bad-ass factor hands down.

I think Guns would whoop more booty, at a logical standpoint. In a fantasy realm though, Swords would rapeeeeeee.

Swords don't need reloading. So swords.Not to hard to explaine, What do you think is better? Gun's? or Sword's?
