do you remember in wanted the scene where the butcher tries to kill him with a knife and gets it stuck in the gun barrel and then he shoots him with the blade? Or in call of duty the ballistic knife? both poor weapons but none the less they are classified as ballistic or a "gun." with this established that gunblade is a fail i can conclude; what weapon are wars fought with today?

Guns. Gunslingers appear more sleek and cool. Swords are good too, but not as subtle as guns.

I personally have more of a preference toward swords. They look cooler than guns overall, in my opinion. Like in Monster Hunster; overall, Great Swords and Long Swords have are designed better than Bowguns and Bows.

I think, that I want swords to kick ass more, but in reality I think guns definitely win. I mean, if I was going into a world filled with evil zombies i would probably go with swords but have a gun as back up.

Hahaha I'd choose a gun any day. Just look at Full Metal Panic phfft. Also I prefer fighting from a middle/far range than a close range. Unless of couse I get really annoyed and just want to beat up the idiot.

Swords are more cooler. It's really dramatic and stylish if used on a one-on-one,face-to-face,you cant run-from-me kind of duel

Swords seem cooler, but guns are more likely to actually kick your ass, so to speak.It will have to be guns for me.

That depends on what you mean by 'kicking ass'If you mean kill then it's a gun.If you mean inflict pain and suffering as well as gruesome killing then it's a sword.If you mean kicking, then it's a foot.

Ever played a Devil May Cry game? Swords are so much more slaughterlicious, stylish, rendtastic, bloodsplosive, satisfying, fun, and mutilate things way faster and cooler than guns! I mean, pull a trigger continuously, or create a gravity defying firestorm vortex of doom with twin sentient demon swords of fire and wind? Was there ever really a choice? SWORDS, FTW!!!!

Are you sure?It's true that a gun is usually used for clean kills, but there is no reason why a gun cannot inflict as much pain, suffering, blood and gore as a sword.Whether intentionally or in a messy situation (like, say, war).If you mean inflict pain and suffering as well as gruesome killing then it's a sword.

swords are definately cooler, and they are more honorable. Nothing is better than a honorable kill with your sword
