these were the second pokemon games i ENJOYED. i loved the first ones, i enjoyed these ones... but you know what? im still waiting for open world pokemon / fast paced action. idk... i have this idea of a pokemon game that pokemon fans say "no, go away". oh well.

I gotta say gold and silver were my favorite pokemon games, but I wouldn't buy a remake... just kind of seems like a waste of money to me to play the same game again but with better graphics.

Well...I am not really interested in Gold/Silver remakes. To be specific, I did not like the Johto region much.

kinda not expecting that, because that would mess up the way you have to have all the gba and both ds pokemongames to have all pokemon in just one game, its the way nintendo wants you to buy all the versions of pokemon, you know

I found there pics too, but on Bulbapedia. There, i found more evidence. They have pics of a Chikorita, hacked using gameshark, whose data shows it was traded from Jhoto. Also, Nintendo too has given many hints of a 2nd gen remake in the fourth gen. With the introduction of the new DSi, without a GBA port, for pal park, and also the introduction of platinum, which has been confirmed to have the three legendary birds, Nintendo is removing the fourth gen game's dependance on the third gen games to complete the dex. Thus, introducing DuskGold and DawnSilver seems obvious.

Scratch what I said earlier, I guess the person above me is right. Hoo-rah.X---Ehhhh. I think these are fake.As much as I love Gold and Silver (IMHO, they were the best ones of the series), I don't think a remake should be done unless:1. Its for the GBA. (come on, r/b were made there, so should g/s)2. New features that adds on to gameplay. (FireRed and LeafGreen were great remakes, but they needed more then just the Orange Islands)3. Expand time and day feature. (a 1 yr calendar with daily/weekly/monthly events would bring would open so many doors)4. All current pokes in the the game world in the game. (I'd love to travel with my Tortwig around Johto)The only thing that sets G/S from D/P is that one has seasons and the other has days.Have a nice day.X

How else would they make money off the new kids? Back in my day it was the GB/GBP/GBC. So in order to make more money they will rerelease the games, much like they did with Red (Fire Red) and Green (Leaf Green) for the GBA.So how many Pokemon games for the DS is that now? Does anyone else think they're saturating the market and diluting the franchise?

first off if you read the second link carefully bulbapedia states the image is a fake all so a youtube video states the same thing. also they just released pokemon platuim in japan and i could see the US geeting in April of this year. but will all the noise us fans have made for remake (i one could image japans fan are likely making noise of thier own for a remake) and the fact the to have jhoto data in the game on could believe that they will make them down the road. how ever i would like the titles to be GoldSun and SliverMoonWell there are, I think, fake screenshots of a supposedly Gold And Silver Box Art.
