A remake of those games would be pretty awesome. My Pokemon silver was the best pokemon game ever

I believe that a remake is possible. However, instead of a remake of Gold and Silver, they may just make a new game that includes most of the Johto Pokemon that did not appear in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. Since the new DSi does not have a GBA slot, they would eventually have to make games that include Hoen and Kanto Pokemon as well. And in Platinum, they do so already when they allow players to capture Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno. And even allow players to capture Regirock, Registeel, and Regice, which will allow them to capture Regigigas. To sum-up, a G/S remake is possible, or just new games with old Pokemon. Either would be okay with me.

wow the cover looks kool, but it is going to be the exact same thing or very very diffenent. i have the asian verson of dimond where everything is way different and it came out before the real ds one.

yes! those are my two favorite pokemon games. I hope its not as bad as the fire red and leaf green remakes though

It would be great if Nintendo decided to remake these classics, especially with the falling quality of new pokemon. But FYI, I've seen videos of a fan-made remake of this game as a patch for FireRed. I couldn't figure out how to patch the file, but it seemed real enough. It was called "ShinyGold"

I enjoyed gold and silver version of the game.. it was amazing when it came out. however, i seriously doubt that they are planning to make remakes of those games in near future. I hope it comes out, though.

I loved pokemon silver version and i think that it would be awesome to have a remake of it. a remake of yellow would be nice to go along with fire red and leaf green too.

Another hit to the release of Gold and Silver remakes is in the Trading Card Game, there is a complete lack of all 2nd generation (The ones from G&S) from all the latest expansions. Just another one of those little coincidences.

I would really enjoy to see DuskGold and DawnSilver. I personally don't think these are fakes, when Pokemon Platinum was still a rumor, Nintendo said that both Platinum and DuskGold+DawnSilver were fakes.If these were really fakes, why didn't they make cover art for the remake of Crystal?

Those are fake, anything you see in a pic taken from a cell phone of a strange japonese magazine is probobly either fake or wrong.

The more Pokemon games the better :(They need to make a new battle system I think tho, it gets repeatative at times.
