I really can't understand why everybody likes Lyn so much... Granted, she is the fastest Lord and has attributes most similar to a swordmaster, which everybody thinks is badass, but she really isn't a swordmaster. All I see is an inferior clone. She doesn't get any critical boost, her defense is atrocious (you can't dodge attacks forever), and her final weapon is just disastrous. The Sol Katti would be great on any other sword user, but Lyn totally fails hard with that weapon simply because it's so heavy. Her constitution is like 5, and that weapon's weight is like 15. She loses all her speed, can't strike twice, and can't dodge anymore. The weapon does more harm than good.Plus, the other Lords get awesome secondary weapons, while Lyn gets a bow. Come on! A bow? Yeah, I know it's the only thing she can carry, but in my opinion, the bow is the worst secondary weapon. I do like bows because of their ranged attacks, but the fact that you can't counterattack kills me. And since Lyn is so weak and fragile, not being able to counterattack usually means the end of her. Rather quickly.The only time I ever got a good Lyn was when I RNG manipulated the shit out of her. It was a very painstaking process, because even when I got low RNs, her growths (especially defense) were so low that I didn't get level ups when I wanted. So usually I just use her because she's useful in the prologue game, but then I dump her for Hector later on. She's useless.

Um. I'm not really sure how to respond to that since every single lord in every single Fire Emblem game always kills the bad guys.As for bad guy killing lords, I'm particularly fond of Leaf, but only from Seisen no Keifu. His growth rates were incredible, a 130% HP growth! Amazing! Plus he had like a 50% defense, speed, and skill, which are all very important stats. His strength was also high enough, although it could be higher, at 60%. A great all around character. Who needs luck (25%) when you've got those incredible other growths!However, they nerfed the crap out of him in Thracia 776, all his growths were cut in half and his stat gains from promotion went from +5s to +1s... That one just one contributing factor to why that game was so damn hard.

Hector has the badass i dont care factor which makes him my favourite lord. I just wish there was an assasin lord, unlikely i know but that would be my favourite. (PS correct me if there is an assain lord i havent played every fire emblem)

I've only finished FE7, but I always liked Hector. I find that Lyn and Eliwood are given too much of a bland hero personality whereas Hector's character has much more spunk to it. Also, he's a beast at battling (though Lyn is too, I guess).
