I haven't got the hang of Animal Crossing yet I still enjoy Harvest Moon but I'm also lagging behind on the new releases.

Harvest Moon is much more entertaining than Animal Crossing. In Harvest Moon, you can keep playing and playing, but there's still something you have to do. Animal Crossing has a set goal and then goes downhill.

harvest moon has a story and a plot and i like that. but animal crossing has more things to do. so it is hard to choose. i choose animal crossing. but i cant deny harvest moon and i dont. i just think animal crossing gives you more to do. sort of...

Harvest Moon!!! It is my favorite game by far. It has a really good story line on all the games and you can never run out of things to do, unless you cheat or play it 24/7.

Harvest Moon DEFINITELY. Animal Crossing is just a game where you play an everyday life, with no plot almost. Harvest Moon (the ds games at least) have a plot, and we can even marry and have a child! I love it so much, there's like alot to do

As much as I enjoy Animal Crossing I had to say that harvest moon is better. I generally dislike games that get mad at me for not playing them enough! (Which Is way I stay away from love plus, hahaha)

I liked animal crossing, but now im rather bored of it, its just the same thing over and over again, on the other hand I really havent played harvest moon much,

Harvest moon all the way, you can get hours of fun out of it, it can be replayed over and over again, set yourself different goals, whereas in animal crossing you have a set goal, once its complete what's next on the games shelf?if you want a slightly different challenge Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, normal harvest moon with other RPG elements

Harvest moon is so much better you can actually upgrade tools, grow pets, enter horse race's and renovate your house.

I'd say animal crossing, but only because i've never played harvest moon

Both are really good games, but animal crossing gets boring after you play a while, so my vote goes to harvest moon

I guess it really depends on what you like.I like harvest moon because of all this interaction with the villagers, and the sprites and how you get to farm at the same time. it's cute and it's definitely something to NOT REGRET. you just have to be really 'committed' if you know what I mean.animal crossing on the other hand doesn't have those functions where you can farm or marry another character, but you can make money, spend it, upgrade your house, listen in on conversations (My favourite part, actually) and has more interactions than harvest moon does. plus, you can connect and go to another town with a friend, if your friend has animal crossing too.i personally love both! i always alternate between the two when I play...

Funny? I'm not sure I would lable them that way but i've played them both breifly and I find Harvest Moon to be more entertaining. They both have the same type of mechanics going on so i guess it depends on what you find more stimulating. If I was make a suggestion Harvest Moon would be it hands down.
